I had a nice time during my stay here. I liked the fact that there is a personal unique touch everywhere you look. just one example is the faucet in my bathroom sink was a real sea shell !

i wish it were closer to some more amenities but overall I would stay again. I was able to easily find reliable transportation. The owner will provide you with a private taxi that’s owned by a very nice couple.

Beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood just outside of Cancún. Lovely and very interesting host, huge room, delicious breakfast.

It’s a very charming place with a beautiful garden and if you are lucky you will spot a séréque.

our host Arturo was super charming , friendly and helpful. he has created an amazing oasis with beautiful gardens located in a quiet neighbourhood . we really appreciated being able to check in early, and that he could offer us a tasty breakfast and also a late checkout.

Arturo was so genuinely nice and accommodating, such an interesting man. The apartment was quiet, cool and clean, with lots of interesting homemade decorations and unique design elements. The garden is beautiful and serene. We loved our stay!

We liked everything about the property and the services provided by the host. The accommodation was well located for the airport, but we didn't have any time to explore the area. Thanks to Arturo, it was also much cheaper to get back to the airport when he booked a taxi for us (note for fellow travellers: careful taking the authorised taxis from arrivals as they charged us almost three times what we paid to get back!).

A++++ Magnificent Best Host Ever!

Casa del Aquitecto was such a treat to stay in. After having spent more than a month in Playa del Carmen, we really enjoyed this peaceful retreat on our last night before flying out from the Cancun Airport. The area is very quiet and safe and we walked to a pleasant dinner near the town square on wide, tranquil streets. Wifi was fine and there were plenty of outlets to charge up all our electronics. The highlight was seeing Arturo's art and learning about his artistic process. He is dedicated to reusing materials and has created many beautiful pieces that can be found throughout the grounds and rooms. Arturo ordered us a 5:30 am taxi which arrived on time. Unfortunately, I left an item behind and he contacted us right away and was very helpful.
