Perfect location for either a visit or a short layover as was the case for me. Helpful staff, great bed, good breakfast. Five minutes from Blue Mosque and Aia Sophia. Quite a ride from the airport with Istanbul traffic at its best, but totally worth it.

Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das angebotene Frühstück war sehr ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Trotz der sehr belebten Lage waren die Zimmer nachts erstaunlich ruhig und man konnte gut schlafen.
Wir hätten uns mehr Tageslicht im Zimmer gewünscht. Es gab zwei Fenster, eins davon war abgeklebt und das andere hatte eine Aussicht zu den Dunstabzugshauben, daher haben wir es zugelassen (die Gerüche hätten sonst das Zimmer überflutet). Die Türe hatte zum Rahmen hin einen kleinen Spalt, durch den öfters das Flurlicht durchschien, das uns nachts etwas gestört hat.

We had a wonderful stay at Lapis Inn Hotel&Spa.From the moment we stay they got in touch with me if they can do anything else for me if I need to reserve a transfer from the airport to the hotel or arranging any tours in the city.The hotel is located right at the heart of the old city.
The complimentary breakfast was also very good with the panoramic view of the hotel terrace.The rooms were clean and comfortable.the staff was also always eager to help the guests.I would definately stay there for my next trips to Istanbul.

The location could not be better and a million dollar view of the Blue Mosque and other sights. The roof top is amazing. There are restaurants, coffee shops within steps. The staff is so helpful, OCON was especially helpful upon check-out and getting my bags to the Taxi. Great Stay!

The room I was staying had very bad accustoms so I could hear very load voice from the adjacent room till 2am.
They advertise having Turkish Bath but actually they do not have it.

Sauna was not working. Was really disappointing. Price was high compared to the size of the rooms. Restaurants next door are a big rip off. They ripped me off when I first arrived. They charged me 278 TL for a wrap and coke. Which is over 12 Euros.
