Excellent service by owner great food and exceptional hospitality

A serene location right on the water that you can enjoy all day. We had our 3 meals at Lovedale itself, sumptuous, generous and freshly made. We enjoyed small boat rides, beach trips and a massage during our stay. Unfortunately for us, we needed to rush back home due to a medical emergency before we could fully complete our stay. The host & hostess were fully supportive - it was 5 AM in the morning, but Anshad, the host, immediately arranged a taxi for us to take us to the airport and was helpful in our time of need. His wife offered hot tea to help energize us as we rushed through our exit process.

Lovedale itself is a great property and you can sit under the pergola and enjoy the view. However, on either side of this property we witnessed constant disposal of trash into the water. There is nothing Lovedale can do about this and Anshad himself expressed sadness about it, but we wish that people that live along this majestic Vembanad Lake and gain their livelihoods from it treat it with the respect it deserves.

I had a lovely stay with Anshad and Amina, who showed me incredible warmth and kindness. Anshad was very helpful in arranging activities and making sure that I was well looked after during my stay, and Amina's food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely homestay at Lovedale resort. It is owned by a wonderful family. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had an emergency during our stay and the owner was very kind in getting all the help we needed. The lady owner Ameena cooks yummy meals and was very attentive to our requests. The place is right at the lake where you can see fisherman boats pass by and even ask for a ride. The place is a bit secluded but the owner is very helpful in getting rickshaw/taxi rides to the boat jetty/beach.

The shower doesn't have hot water and the bath tub was not working.

Situated at lakeside with nice view . Can get home made delicious food at affordable prices.

Location is Amazing. You can step into the lake/boat from the Property. Good feel sitting there with the endless Lake in front... Enjoyed my stay, felt valued for Money, and Had a good Dinner (Fish curry meals).

Great place to stay. Amazing location by the lake, nice garden and hammock. We got complimentary breakfast and delicious dinner at an affordable cost. Very helpful owners of the homestay. We had wonderful time there, I wish we had stayed longer. Next time I'll only consider Lovedale when I'll come back to beautifull Alleppey. Anshad is a great guy, he found us a Houseboat at a very affordable price. Really appreciated and highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Alleppey.
