The appartment is in a great position. it is very spacious. it is an old building so nice high ceilings and big windows with shutters. it's only a few minutes walk into the centre of town. and approximately 20-30 minutes to walk to La cite. The medieval part. although the bus is easy it's a number 3 takes you there in no time.

We have stayed in this appartment last year as well and loved it . Hence why we booked again. This time there was a problem with bugs in the kitchen they were everywhere. we did inform Marjorie. She said she would sort it out after we left. We had to take two of everything from the cupboards and wash them just before using the dishes ect and after and leave them in the drainer. we bought spray and sprayed the bugs multiple times a day which caused my friends asthma to worsen. We also got bitten whilst in the bedroom. I did try to take photos but they were very quick. There was still a leak under the sink in the bathroom which we reported last year. they had obviously looked at it as a dish was placed under it but not sorted and overflowed. so I felt this year we have been bitterly disappointed in the appartment and I don't think we would feel comfortable staying there again.

The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The location was ideal. Very close to town centre. Lots of places to eat nearby. 20-30 mins to walk to the medieval citi. I would be happy to stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Nothing really . The only thing which may put others off is the street can be a little noisy with cars. But really it's not that big a problem.

Excellent location in the heart of Carcassonne our hosts were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here. We'll definitely be coming back.

Location is good. Apartment is a good size.

Poor communication regarding check-in. Very noisy area;windows not insulated; didn't sleep very well. Kitchen area has not been cleaned very well.

No contact with host. Only received a text in French with instruction on how to get key from a key box at apartment door entrance. It would have been impossible if one did not understand French. This was not acceptable.

Very disappointing overall. No contact with host during our stay. On arriving received a text in French re key and not even signed off with a name/host. Had to look back on email booking and got a telephone number and the name Leslie. Rang number but it rang out and got no call back. NO WiFi available during our whole stay. Totally unacceptable when it was advertised on booking.com as having WiFi. I texted Leslie re this matter asking for password and WiFi details. Only received code in reply which did not work. I texted back again and got no response. Totally unacceptable. On the morning of check out again no contact with host, no instructions as to what to do with keys etc. I tried ringing the number again but it was not answered. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone. No WiFi, no contact from host. The noise and traffic from the street was unbearable. This apartment was not as set out in photos on booking.com. No curtains in one bedroom, black towels, bed clothes dark grey, used toiletries. I would question the reviews for this apartment on booking.com.

We messaged the host before arriving and she was very helpful and we were able to check in earlier than expected. The apartment was in a good location for our visit to Carcassonne. The apartment was a good size.

A couple of things the apartment was advertised as are not the case and we would not have booked the apartment if we had known this. The apartment was advertised with free on street parking this is not the case we had to park in an underground car park close by which charged 20 euro for 7 days which worked out cheaper even though we only stayed 3 nights. (It is a good car park would recommend). The biggest problem was it did not have any outside space even though it said it did. This was a real let down.

Family of 4 with 2 teenagers this was a well laid out and very well equipped apartment. The owners really pulled out the stops on the little extras and a very copious breakfast. We had parking right outside and a friendly meet and great. Walking distance into Carcassonne which was a great plus.

It was a heatwave and a couple of fans would have made a real difference. We actually had one in the car so used that but it would be great for future guests to have access to one.
