Excellent location and suitable facilities within the hotel. Staff were helpful, especially the man behind the reception desk.

We felt that the potential charge of £10 for storing suitcases until 2pm on our check out day was unacceptable. we offered to pay on card but the lady receptionist would only accept cash.

This hotel is beautiful, quaint, secure, and ideally located within 5 minutes walking distance to San Marco Square. It is also very close to various Gondola stops, and two water taxi stations. Breakfast is €10 if not included, and it’s an excellent array of Continental + breakfast: ham, cheese, croissants and boiled eggs are all available in addition to cereals and juices.

There is no elevator so accessibility is limited (and this is generally true in Venice)

Perfect location just 2 minutes from San Marco Square but room was still nice, quiet and clean... Staff was also very friendly so I can only recommend this place to other travelers...

The location was good.

The customer service, staff tried ripping us off around the breakfast price. Breakfast was absolutely awful. There was cat hair on the carpet. Bedroom walls are paper thin so you can hear everything.

The room smelled like mold and it gave us bad headaches and the bed wasn’t amazing.

Very nice hotel amongst all the action surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. A short 2 minute walk to St Mark's Square. The hotel staff were very friendly. helpful and spoke good English. The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a lift so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. But the staff did offer to help. Breakfast was in a small dining room and basic. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again.

Perfect location, five minute walk from the main canal and the water is stop to and from the airport. Nice shops and restaurants along the street. Really nice and helpful staff. Room was perfectly clean, wifi and air conditioning worked great too!

The room was beautiful (but less than expected seeing the pictures). The location was really good but noisy at night because there's a lit of people passing the street. The staff was very nice and helpful. Bonus: they have a cat !

some of the staff where very rude. we couldn’t choose the time for breakfast and coffeemaker didn’t work 2 out of 3 mornings. Also we put our dirty towels to the floor that they would charge them for clean towels but instead they put the same dirty wet towels hanging to bathroom rail.

Excellent staff, filling breakfast, very central location. It was so easy to get there from the airport- the directions were very helpful. And once there, everything was just a short stroll away. Hotel was just like expected and staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The location was fantastic! We were a short walk to everything we wanted to see. The included breakfast was very good. The staff were nice and helpful. The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. I think it was a decent value for the location. our room had 3 large windows and lots of natural light. It looked out over a charming street—not another wall, like most windows in the city.

The hotel could use some updating. There was a lot of unused random furniture, etc., cluttering the entry and hallways when we arrived. There were no lights on in the entry, first stairway, or reception area, and it was only 7 pm. It gave an initial feeling of being a really run-down facility. Our shower was too small for my husband to use (literally—he couldn’t fit in the tiny stall. But he’s a 6’4” former American football player. So most people will probably fit. But barely.) The shower doors were not on tracks, and were difficult to open and close. The furniture in our room was old and run-down. There was a chair, but it was very rickety and we didn’t dare sit on it. We pulled up pictures of our online booking and were surprised by how different our initial impression had been from the online pictures that make this hotel look like a really nice facility. Luckily, our stay was better than our first impression, and we ended up enjoying our time in the city very much.

Location was very central and exciting, breakfast was yummy, and staff was friendly! Also a very cute, sleepy cat at reception.

The only weird thing was the scent. Overwhelmingly of incense or perfume or incense. It singed our nostrils and we had to keep airing the room out. Never went away for the entire trip. And look, I love candles, scents, oils, etc but this was INSANE. Like I cannot stress enough how powerful and frustrating this scent was.
