Segundo dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio. El tercer dormitorio tiene una reina y un loft doble. Es una gran sala para todos los niños. (También hay 2 daybeds en 2 habitaciones semi-privadas. Debido a que tienes que caminar a través de ellos para acceder a otra habitación, no contarlos como habitaciones completas, pero tienen camas cómodas y me permiten los huéspedes extra, así que contar las 2 habitaciones como 1 dormitorio en la lista).
El abierto, bien iluminado, comer en la cocina con isla central está bien equipada.
La sala de sol tiene una sala de juegos para los niños y unas vistas increíbles del lago.
Esta casa es estrictamente NO FUMADORES. Por favor fume afuera solamente y deseche su basura de cigarrillos en recipientes apropiados.
En el exterior, ofrecemos un muelle con mesa, sillas y bancos, 2 columpios sobre el agua, áreas de juego para niños, una ducha al aire libre con agua fría y caliente, una hoguera, etc. El columpio de cuerda no puede ser utilizado por los inquilinos, lo siento.

This house is adorable, cozy, and felt like home! Perfect for children! The dock was fun and had plenty of shade to escape the sun. There were also tons of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the calm waters. Highly recommend for any easy lake getaway.

Lovely home with plenty of room for 5 adults and two children. Loved the enclosed porch, yard and great deck down at the lake. Access to the pontoon boat was a great plus!

This home was perfect for our family goals of R&R to kick off the summer. The listing was exactly as listed. Beautiful lake views and a warm and welcoming house.
The host had firewood and S'more supplies as a welcoming gift. The fit pit was a perfect way to end our days. We loved the lightening bugs in the backyard in the evening. One more unlisted favorite: my 14 year old daughter loved the rock painting supplies!

we stayed for a weekend wedding in northern Charlotte. I wish we could have spent more time at this house and rented the pontoon boat to go into the larger late. Circumstances limited us to just enjoying the porch and the nice lake deck with some friends one afternoon.

This cute lake house had everything we needed for our weekend with family! The house was well equipped, and even had lots of cleaning supplies, which is always appreciated! We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the dock, had a fire one night in the fire pit, and grilled one evening. It’s close to Charlotte all kinds of activities! Thank you!!

There are so many good things to say about this property.
It is spotlessly clean. Inviting and welcoming. Quiet and safe.
Simply bring your personal items and some groceries and you can be right at home. Shopping and groceries are nearby. Dozens and dozens of restaurants Doordash to the address.
The sunroom out back is steps from the lake.
Mountain Island Lake is a clean and beautiful lake. This home is located in a sweet little cove off the main channel. It doesnt get a great deal of boat traffic.
The owner has included many nice touches to help you enjoy your stay. My sister and niece were obsessed with the paddleboards!
The owner is responsive and a pleasure to speak with.
We loved our stay! It was far too short! A friend of mine who came by for lunch already wants to rent it for his birthday next year!
I can't wait to stay again!

First of all this is a hidden Gem in the Charlotte area. With Lake Norman, Lake Wylie and others in competition Mt Island is a great choice for a lake property.
Here are some of things we loved.
1. Location
2. Quiet neighborhood
Plenty of indoor and outdoor space
3. Pontoon boat on property that makes it an easy way to enjoy the lake at fraction of the cost to rent a vessel
4. Cross-functional living areas (you can easily have 2 or 3 families stay at the same time with the flex space and 3 bedrooms
5. Grocery stores and restaurants about 5 minutes away
6. The owners care about thier guests (they go above and beyond to make everything is just right)

What a beautiful property. So peaceful and everything we were looking for. Truly felt at home and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

I have rented before on this App but have not found hosts who are more accommodating.! They were quick to respond to questions we had early in our stay and made sure we were well taken care of. The entire process booking for an out of town celebration could not have been easier! The home was clean, well furnished and spacious. The location on the Lake was on a quiet bay . Fire pit lakeside was a plus as was the spacious dock on the water! Can't go wrong with this rental.

My sister's family and mine stayed at the Lake House. It was absolutely perfect for our purposes. The kids spent all day on the paddle boards, kayaks, and at the dock. The back porch swings were amazing, and also the backyard was awesome. We played cornhole and had a fire in the fire pit with smores. The kids loved the kids' bedroom and lofted bed with cubbies. House was clean! Christina was awesome about communication. You can't go wrong with this booking!

The property was the quintessential lake house. It was perfect. We enjoyed the water, boat and the quiet neighborhood.

We had an exceptional time staying here! There were 3 generations of 8 adults for a week over Thanksgiving. There were plenty is spaces to spread out and the backyard, fire pit and lake were so relaxing. We loved the pontoon and used it everyday. Close to many things in Charlotte but just relaxing at the house and on the Lake was our favorite. The hosts were very kind, helping us to make our family Thanksgiving perfect!

Christina was a great host and made sure everything was right. The weather was perfect. Fishing off the dock was excellent. The fire pit was an added bonus. Household items were very plentiful. Grandchildren had a blast. I would have no reservation in renting tis property again.

This little piece of paradise has it all! A great lake setting with convenient location to shopping and major thoroughfares. Comfortable beds, linens, well stocked kitchen with boat rental availability. What more could you ask for. Owners Dan & Christina were very professional, responsive and great to work with. They have won our future business.

We would see the sites in Charlotte during the day but we looked forward to sitting on the dock by the lake in the evening. Pictures do not do it justice. Would definitely stay again.

We are locals but wanted to enjoy lake life for my husbands 40th birthday and couldn’t of been happier, place was amazing and relaxing. Made a fire every night abs just sat for hours with family and friends. Great place, you will love it!

Our family had a wonderful week at Mountain Island Lake! Many restaurants and shopping within the area. The owners Christina & Dan are very responsive. They were quick to communicate and very welcoming. Christina even provided the ingredients for making s’mores and bought a child’s bed rail for the top twin bunk for safer sleeping. My kids loved it there! We made many memories on the boat, fishing and kayaking. Only recommendation I have would be to replace the carpet in the secondary bedrooms to beautiful hardwoods like the rest of the home. We would love to return in the future!

We loved the water view, the birds, the quiet and the views from the porch and deck. Went to South Park mall for an outing. Very close by. Everything you could need for cooking and playing in the water. Christina and Dan - always available. Lovely.

Great location on the lake with a big back yard. We enjoyed taking advantage of the lake activities and making smores. The furnishings are plentiful and comfortable. Ample parking and close to Whitewater Rafting Center, restaurants and stores.

While we did not end up renting this property due to logistics (I was looking for a longer term than was available), I wanted to review the owner, Christina. She was a pleasure to work with. She got back to me quickly, and did her best to make it work. She is very hands on, and helpful!

We had a great week. We really enjoyed the lake swimming and quiet cove. The shaded dock area was nice to take a break from the hot sun. We also enjoyed the deck and the kitchen island was great to eat at.
