Basic room in V hot weather without A/C and due to security unable to leave the window open created a v hot sleepless night.

Fabulous place and location in the centre of the town. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Loved the decor, very quirky. We didn't have any breakfast but the breakfast area was stunning. Also parking is available which is always a great bonus. I would stay here again.
I loved everything. The only negative was the mattress was probably a little old and it sunk in the middle. Not a problem though.

Visit the hotel, if you expect something different. Expect 300 years old house nicely renovated, with all comforts, what you need, but also with old floors and doors, keeping the historical moment. Location in the centre of city, nice restaurants and shops nearby.

The info on Booking.com indicated parking was available. In fact parking was very limited, and required pre-booking. We were midway on our car journey from the UK to southern Spain with a car full of luggage that was valuable to us. We wanted to put our car in a secure location. The manageress was unimpressed and directed us to a public car park perhaps 800 metres from the hotel. With a combined age of over 140, my wife and I were surprised that no help was offered to get a selection of our luggage to the hotel or up to the room. This was service stripped down to the barest essential. ie getting the credit card machine out, and nothing more. The room was baking hot, no air conditioning, and we had an uncomfortable night. This shabby chic hotel has a fantastic location in the middle of the old town. But the parking was a nightmare! I would strongly suggest that if you are driving to this hotel you pre-book. And I would suggest to the management you make the situation clear in your info. Oh, and it might be an idea, in the long run, to treat your customers with a little more kindness and respect.
