Lovely and clean hotel, fab breakfast. Huge comfortable bed.

Our hosts catered brilliantly for my wife's gluten and dairy intolerance and we both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts during our stay. The Location was perfect for the area we were visiting. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Sharon and Gerald our hosts were so helpful in recommending places to visit.

Very friendly. Breakfast basic but adequate. Owners very helpful.
A bit disappointed that full cooked breakfast would have incurred an extra charge. We only found this out when we saw the information in the bedroom.

Great location for Cardiff Wales Airport. Host offered to pick-up at airport upon arrival and dropped off next day. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order. Would book again with very early/late flight.

Loved visiting Barry, lovely weather,beach and people, lovely castles, museums lots of places to go for the kiddies and beautiful walks etc but most of all The hosts of The Vale are so welcoming and so funny and love telling us stories inwhich I enjoyed and always asking if you need anything so we will definitely be staying there again for sure👍🏽

Clean spacious comfortable room. Nice friendly host. Located just outside Barry (8 minute drive away) . Nice choice of breakfast included in the price with a choice to pay extra for a full English breakfast but after eating the great continental breakfast I honestly couldn't have eaten anything else. Nice place.
We were awoken by guests coming back to the hotel at 3 am.

The room was good with a comfortable bed and well equipped. It even had a fan, as the night was close. The owner was lovely
and very accommodating as my husband had to leave early for the airport.
It wasn’t well signposted travelling on the road to the airport.

The breakfast was nice good choice of cereals The scrambled eggs on brown bread was delicious .
The Proprietor and Cook were very welcoming and helpful. Printed off directions to places and was very helpful. Fresh clean towels every day and very clean.
