Food in bar could be more varied

everything was top quality, the location, the room, the food and especially the staff who were all excellent

the large double bed was two beds pushed together

The breakfast was excellent The interior of the hotel was excellently comfortable.

Dinner was satisfactory but did not excel. It was overpriced for the standard of the food and for the standard of the service.

The location and the room were stunning with really friendly warm staff contributing to the atmosphere. Breakfasts and dinner in the Owenmore restaurant were exemplary with an amazing outlook over the river

We had one dinner in the Fisherman's bar, which was only adequate. Oversalted broth with the mussels raw carrots and a Guinness and steak pie that was 90% mash. Maybe the chef was having a night off that Monday but the food should not have been served. We spoke with the waiter and he offered to change it but that is not really the point.

Were very impressed with all staff members, especially Ciara in reception, & Liam in the bar.

Didn't like lack of fires in the reception rooms at this time of the year

Staff were fantastic! Whole place had a luxury with a family feel! Setting was good for the soul! Food in both the Fisherman's pub and breakfast was SO tasty!!

Minor suggestion for consideration.....it would be nice to have background music on for drinks in the drawing room. Due to covid we weren't able to use the pub for drinks.
