Amazing views from the property over the lake and the area is very tranquil. We saw bunnies and the hosts' cows. The house is very spacious and airy. Judy was very responsive and gave good recommendations for local places to eat. There were also some homemade scones waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen had all the required amenities for home-cooking. The accommodation is in a good location to explore both Mayo and Galway.

There was no WIFI at the cottage and poor phone coverage as well for personal data use. Guests can avail of wifi at the hosts' house, but after a day of sightseeing, we'd prefer to relax in the accommodation while checking the news etc. Please be aware also that electricity and oil use is billed extra after your stay, we felt like on colder days, this could add quite some extra costs.

Stunning views from Groff Cottage, overlooking Lough Mask and beyond. Judy and John were excellent hosts, responding very quickly to any requests or queries we had. This was such a good base to explore Westport town and beautiful County Mayo. The whole family loved it and we will be back. Thank you, Judy and John!
