Fantastic reception staff and concierge, super accommodating with our luggage storage and arranging pool access prior to checkin as well as transport when needed. It was also very close to metro. Room was upgraded and very tasteful with comfortable bed and pillows. It was pricey but that was probably because the F1 races were on.

Wir hatten im Zimmer einiges was defekt war(Waschbeckenabfluß, Kühlschrank, Waschtischarmaturen, Toilettenspülung). Nach unserer Reklamation wurde zwar umgehend alles behoben, ich wundere mich allerdings warum entweder der Zimmerservice diese offensichtlichen Defekte nicht meldet oder das Hotelmanagement keine Routineinspektionen durchführt.

The staff, all were great. The breakfast ladies, so lovely and attentive, thank you. All the gentlemen at the Concierge desk (during the day ONLY) were exceptional. The same does not apply to those who were present at night. The gentleman who checked us in, thank you, amazing service.

The room could have been cleaner - the bathroom in particular. Also, stains on sheets are not acceptable.

De ligging van het hotel is zeer goed. Net achter de Quay’s en dicht bij Chinatown (metro Chinatown ca. 7 minuten lopen). Ook de rest van de stad is zowel per metro als lopend goed te doen. De metro is heel goedkoop (in en uitchecken met je creditcard) en brengt je door de hele stad. De kamer was ook heel fijn. Geluiddicht, een fijn bed en de grootte van de kamer viel ons alles mee. Je leest veel terug dat de badkamer geen privacy geeft en dat klopt. De badkamer zit in de kamer (dus geen aparte ruimte). De wc en douche zijn afgeschermd met deuren (niet doorschijnend glas). Voor ons was dit prima, maar kan mij voorstellen dat niet iedereen dit fijn vindt.

We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de faciliteiten van het hotel (zwembad, restaurant). Die kunnen wij dus niet beoordelen. Ontbijten hebben we buiten de deur gedaan.

The location on Clarke Quay was perfect. A 10min walk from Chinatown and just across the road from Clarke Quay. A great central location that was handy to 7/11s and malls too. We had requested that the 2 rooms we'd booked be on the same floor and we were lucky enough that we had rooms next to eachother on the same floor as the pool. The beds were very comfortable. Would happily stay at the same hotel again and have already given a recommendation to 2 lots of friends who are visiting Singapore soon.

The new design of the bathrooms may not be to everyone's liking as they are not separated from the main room with a solid wall - just opaque glass.

I do not like the fact that there is not a proper bathroom
