Place is pretty old and pretty far, though near an MRT station

It was a place to stay. So many other hotels in Taiwan are not open in the morning, have no English service, or somehow don't have rooms. At LEAST this hotel had English service and a room. I'm glad that the hotel could do the absolute bare-minimum even if it was incredibly expensive. Housekeeping were nice.

Early check-in fee was extremely high at 2.000NTD. Did not specify that on the app or even tell me in person. Even got a worse room than I originally booked for a total of 4.500NTD for ONE night! Could have booked a room at the Hamptons for that price and at least have gotten a pool. Will definitely think twice before coming back to Taiwan to travel, and definitely won't pick this hotel ever again. Not a single place to go and sit besides the lobby which is uncharmingly attached to the restaurant. No lounges, no pools, no roof, nothing. Had to work in my room. Also TV only had bad knock-off movies. No Netflix despite having designated button on the remote control. For a so thoroughly mediocre hotel it makes no sense why early check-in is so expensive, at least make it transparent if you want to punish desperate foreigners.

The room is big! I like the staff. They are very friendly and accommodating. We didn't feel any negative vibe from them. I love that they replenish the freebies everyday, even our bath towels. It's very clean and cozy.

During checking-in, there's an instruction at the lobby desk regarding the room cleaning service. It says there's a schedule, like every other day only. It's quiet uncomfy because every night we came home from our tour, we find our room always cleaned and the freebies were always replenished. It's good, I mean, they should have let us know first though.

Room big. Heated toilet seat. Location ok.

Musky smell. Toilet door cranky. Wrong TV orientation. Can't control aircon. Old furniture and dirty sofa. Toilet tiles worn out. Alternate day housekeeping. Never clean below pillow. Only 2 pillows and hard mattress. Peeling wallpaper. Smelly lobby.

Good location. Friendly staff. Spacious room.

The hotel is outdated and not well maintained. Most important, the room was dirty - dusty, hair in the bathroom and on the bed, stains on the bed linen. Smelly towels. Bad value for money. We stayed in a cheaper hotel after and it was formidable!

lots of places doesn’t clean well (the sheet, tower, pillow…..) I even can saw a blood muck on the sheet……

The location is good.

Out dated facility, unable to adjust AC Temperature. Outdated furniture. Outdated shower head. Fridge does not cool down enough.

- Location is not difficult, but it is a fair bit of walk from the nearest train station - reason being, the nearest station exit has no lift, and the one with a lift is another street down - Not right smack center at Taipei Main Station, but a couple of stations down and near to Shilin Night Market, easy enough to get around - Room was spacious, clean and while room was rather dated, was functioning well - Staff were welcoming and helpful, on their feet to assist when I couldn't handle my groceries - Price is decent overall, but would definitely be helpful to have some facelift to make it better

- Pillow was a tad too soft and flat, and the add-on bed was extremely stiff

Location, close to bus and MRT stations. Lots of food nearby.

Very old and dated hotel. Pricey for what you get. Old carpets, old smell, and stains in the bathroom. Really need a huge refurbishment. Very hard bed, wasn't comfortable. Hair dyer is ancient, took forever to dry.

Good location .clean and quiet room , excellence staff services , worthy to pay the price.

Room smelt and felt damp. need airing? my friends room however was fine so maybe a one off .

No food room service, the room is not cleaned properly, we've seen plastics hidden behind the chair. They only clean every 2 days which is not ideal

Clean room and convenient location to one of the popular night markets and other tourist locations.

Old infrastructure, need a renovation. And the bed mattress was stiff.

Can have laundry facilities to wash clothes.
