This is our second time staying at Su Casa. We love a lot about this house - location, layout and amenities! We were a little disappointed by the state of the house when we checked in. A toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, several dining room chairs were wobbling due to missing screws and a shower drain was plugged. Overall a positive experience but some details were missed.

This property worked perfectly for our family vacation/reunion. Plenty of space to gather and retreat. Very clean, kitchen well stocked. Pool was very nice. Highly recommend.

This home is absolutely ideal for a large family or group. It has great shared spaces, yet very separate bedrooms and bathrooms allowing for great space to spread out.
For a luxury rental, the home is a little dated. While the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, the shared living spaces could be more updated.
Upon arrival, we were taken back by the musty smell of the home and the obvious fact that it had been a while since its last cleaning, most likely the result of a period of time lapsing since its last use.
The kitchen needs some attention as quite a few of the pots and pans need to be replaced. Some organization would help guests a lot. While we found everything we needed, it was scattered throughout multiple locations.
If you plan to request the pool to be heated, follow up on multiple occasions before your arrival. It was not for us. It had also been some time since the pool and outside areas were cleaned.
The staff at 5 Star Properties were very responsive. They addressed the pool heat issue quickly and were overall very helpful.
We loved our stay here, and simply addressing the few issues noted, this would be a first class home.

This is actually a very.positive review though this home is not luxurious if you are looking for that. Our family was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Bikes are needed to get back and forth to the beach. Very quiet street.Bedrooms are situated in such a way that no one disturbs anyone else, a true vacation.

The house was nice overall. Could use some TLC but rentals will never be fully up to date. Upon arrival there was a large full trash bag in the garage and airplane bottles and other trash left out by the pool. The washing machines have mold. The refrigerator was broken. We had to spend over 2 days on the phone with the management company and with a repairman in the main area of the house and the fridge was not repaired. The management company refuses to have a conversation about compensating us for the inconvenience.

First day there are plumbing was not working, raw sewage came up in showers downstairs. Plumber did not arrive till next day leaving us without toilet usage. Third day refrigerator went out, had to throw out all food. A dorm size refrigerator was brought to us to use rest of week then on day 5 our pool when green. Not ideal vacation with 10 family members.

Home was well-appointed. Every bedroom had its own full bath - perfect whether adults or kids. Master Suite was enormous! 2 living areas and with comfy bedrooms, the option of being social or having privacy was great!
Location was great to all of the Sea Pines attraction. Texting with the property manager made check in seamless!

House was great. Pool heat was expensive but well worth the cost. The ice maker did not produce much ice. Had to buy ice daily. The beds need new mattress as they seem to be past their life span. Great location close to all that was going on. Management company was very responsive. On day one the grill was not useable and within hours there was a new grill. The grill tools were damaged and they provided new ones. The pool lights did not work and within 24 hours they were replaced. It was nice to have toilet paper provided but it was the crappiest toilet paper on the planet. Plan on getting you own. All in all a great time.

Awesome House in Great Location.
Loved this house! There was plenty of room for my extended family of 11. It was really nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom so no families had to share. Bike ride to beach was simple and fairly close.
Rental company was very responsive with any questions. Pool was great but hard to keep clean with multiple trees overtop pool.
Definitely recommend this house!!

This home was perfect for our 3 generation family. Elegant, yet extremely homey. The addition of their family pics added so much to the atmosphere. Simple, yet elegant decorating. We have been coming to Sea Pines over a span of 50 years and this is by far our favorite house for so many reasons. Location is great for us and pool area lanscaping is gorgeous. 5 stars!!

Su Casa
Things went generally smoothly. It was difficult at times to reach you. The listing said sleeps 14, but looked like 12 when you counted beds. There was a pull out couch, not mentioned. Some of our older teens couldn't make it so all turned out well. We liked the location and the home was beautifully constructed and decorated. Some furnishings are a bit worn, but the Master bath is spectacular. We had a wonderful week.

House was wonderful, only downside is the pool is fairly shaded, pictures looked like it was more sunny. The house itself with the 4 master bedrooms w/ bathrooms and the 2 washer and dryers and large kitchen was just wonderful for our large group.

What a perfect vacation this was for our family! The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The pool was heated so we were able to enjoy it our entire stay. We had family members ranging in age from 84 to 2 months and the space was perfect. Our only request would be for an extra refrigerator. I highly recommend this house.

The house was fantastic! Location is amazing. BUT Tried to reach out to property manager, and like other reviews have said, heard back ZERO times. I called them multiple times and got transferred to Florida who said they can’t help me since I’m in Hilton Head. But, we were able to figure out everything we needed on our own.

Fantastic time, poorly managed
We had an amazing trip, don't get me wrong, the house was absolutely beautiful, and lived up to every picture. It was the perfect setup for our weekend girls trip with super spacious rooms, a bathroom off of each bedroom, and plenty of common space. This property is amazing for renting with a group!! However, the property management group that manages it, was less than impressive. The whole experience just felt very stale - I wish the family who owned the house would just manage it themselves, it would have felt a bit more personal. It was poorly stocked for supplies, with one pitiful roll of cheap paper towels, a roll of paper thin toilet paper in each bathroom (for a 4-day booking) and when I had trouble checking in (you have to go to the Five-Star property office for your passes before entering Sea Pines) the number they had included sent me to a message center where a woman answered with no help at all, just taking a message. I have called again as one of our group members forgot her pillow and blanket at the house, and again, radio silence. No, this isn't a livid review where I don't recommend anyone stay at this property - it's beautiful! Just want to cast a heads up that it's the house and nothing more of an experience, if you have any issues, don't expect any help apparently! The proximity to the beach is nice, but you will have a good haul to the ocean so pack lightly!

Beautiful home
I'll start with the pros:
The house is beautiful. Loved the 2 laundry rooms. The skylights were awesome for natural lighting. The location was great. The extras were great too, as we didnt bring some essentials with us on the road so that helped. The kids loved that they had pool toys too.
The cons:
2 of the TVs didnt work, one didn't power on and the other got an error message. We tried everything to troubleshoot. The internet was down for a full 24 hrs but the cable company came out to fix it. The ice make didnt make ice for the first day but don't know if it was due to the internet being down.
Overall I'd love to visit again. We were all satisfied.

Respite in paradise
This year has been challenging and my family and I were anxious about traveling. Once we arrived at Su Casa, the anxiety disappeared. The house is so spacious, clean and inviting. The pool is very private and the beach is perfect for social distancing. A vacation at Su Casa was just what this family needed.

Fantastic Location /beautiful home!
The house was beautiful! Lots of space for all 10 of us (2 families with 6 kids between us from 8-24) to have what we needed. Pool was large an
d plenty of room to play! Decor in home is lovely! Kitchen is nice and big and with 2 TV rooms, adults could be in one area and kids in other, easily. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans could be cleaner. Lots of dust and looked to be pans that weren't cleaned when they were put away. Maybe they could check this out between guests? The furniture on the deck needs to be replace or just removed. The table and furniture on the pool deck is great!
We would recommend this to anyone needing mid-island location between Harbour Town and South Beach. Quiet neighborhood and easy to reach bike trails. The beach was a 7 minute ride by trail from the house .Super easy to reach!

Overall a Good Stay -- Only Relatively Minor Maintenance Issues
Overall, our stay was a very good one. The house is set up very well for families and the location is excellent for everything that Sea Pines has to offer. The house was also cleaned very well prior to our arrival.
We had some communication issues with the property manager. But, that was generally okay.
The house is in the need of some general maintenance updates (and I am going to list these so that the owner / property manager is aware of each and will hopefully address these for the benefit of future renters). The patio furniture is dated and many of the chairs are broken. The gas grill doesn't work. We had issues with both clothes washing machines; the one on the first floor didn't work for the last several days of our visit. Many of the shower heads need to be replaced. The oven door doesn't close properly so the oven itself takes very long to cook. The dishwasher isn't secured properly and thus moves around when loading and unloading dishes. The garage and garbage disposal area (outside) are sorely in need of a cleaning. The pool leaks, so we had to constantly fill it with water. Finally, the televisions throughout the house are waaaay to complicated to operate.

The house was great for our family, nice decor. Saw deer in the back yard daily. Plenty of room to spread out for all and close to bike paths. Would definitely book this one again.

Fall break 2019
This cavernous house was just what we needed to be together and also retreat to privacy! We love the Heritage Woods area and this house was positioned in a great location. We have older kids, so the bike ride to beach access was manageable. We aren’t a“hang out at the beach all day” family, so we didn’t mind being farther away. The access to walking/bike paths was more important for us. We did have a minor plumbing issue in the first day, but it was attended to immediately by management and we got on with our stay with little interruption! Overall, a great week in this beautiful house!
