Comfortable bed, great breakfast and good location

Good location. Able to park outside for a small charge. Quiet and clean.

Rooms were nice and cosy. Location was great.

The hotel and Booking.com didn't communicate well with each other. We'd cancelled one of the room bookings (as we'd had a friend drop out of the trip) days before the deadline for doing so, so should have received a full refund for that room. The hotel reception said they weren't aware of the cancellation and made me pay for the room anyway.

Location was good.

Room was dirty, nose bogey on upside down picture in bathroom. Dried old liquid of some kind on bedside cabinet, pubic hairs on tiles in shower. Felt and looked dirty in many communal areas. Chaos at breakfast. Staff seemed very stressed and hygiene was very poor. Very unorganised. So many people asking for basic cutlery , no menus, felt very awkward and not a pleasant experience, hardly ate or drunk as had Dirty tea cup, cold and rare sausage bacon and egg . Felt very cheap and no care taken. Staff member had bad B.O

The staff were very polite and couldn't be more helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent with a parking voucher if needed. Breakfast was an added bonus.

Nice room and comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast provided.

Hotel in the middle of refurbishment - thankfully, they did prewarn us about the scaffolding, so we kept our curtains shut. Hallways and stairs were dingy, and reception was sometimes in darkness and looked unwelcoming because of that - staff were lovely, though. Dated carpets and old paintwork in common areas had splashes of paint on them, and each day, there was a pile of furniture in a different place that could be seen from the reception and breakfast area, just made it look untidy.
