Great setting in an old colonial townhouse, decent breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel manager was so kind to help us with changing our itinerary due to multiple road blocks linked to political protests. Much appreciated!
Took 30 minutes for the night guard to respond to us ringing the bell for our agreed upon early check in at 5 AM. In any case only a minor inconvenience and the great beds made up for it!

Hermoso hotel colonial con personal muy atento. Una de las mejores caracteristicas es la terraza con vista a la ciudad y su excelente ubicacion (a 2 cuadras de la plaza principal). Muy buen desayuno.

An extraordinary hotel in an extraordinary town of Bolivia. The colonial section of Sucre is worth a visit and if you wish to experience the flair of the town, you should stay at the 'Su Merced', housed in one of the white buildings of the White Town. You can expect great service and the most helpful staff.

A beautiful hotel with numerous terrace areas. staff were wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. Great location too.

We loved the charm of this beautiful building and the location. The rooftop views were sensational and we enjoyed sitting up there when we needed time out to relax. The staff were very helpful and the manager in particular went out of his way to assist us in any way possible. We were also very fortunate that our room was ready when we arrived at 6.30am after an overnight bus from Uyuni. I expected to just leave our luggage but we were able to shower and use the room and were not charged extra for this. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location, walking distance to all sightseeing, market, restaurants, ATMs, etc - in a quiet street. The staff have all been very helpful and kind, going the extra mile which made our stay very smooth and enjoyable. To note: the beds are extra comfy - we slept so well !

I loved the friendly staff, the position of the hotel and the cleanliness. I arrived early morning in Sucre and they let me check-in earlier than their check-in time at no extra cost since the room was available. And their terrace was stunning, perfect spot if you want to chill outside.

too much pollution from passing traffic, cars, buses, truck, motorcycles! the air is unbreathable and this pollution penetrates the hotel rooms… it is suffocating. it is much better to stay above the city.

wow this hotel is like a museum itself! There are many thoughts put into the furnish and decorations. The room is comfortable, clean, and in a central location. The reception staff speaks good English and is super helpful!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, Raul at reception went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and made recommendations for restaurants...Joyride was our favourite one.
The roof top terraces are fantastic and a perfect place to relax with a drink and soak up the stunning views.
The location is great just few minutes walk to the centre plaza.
We found the bed a little old and uncomfortable.

Not to mention the super charming house, clean and comfy rooms, really good breakfast… - it’s the staff that makes this hotel a 5-star experience. I had many troubles to organize my trip and Raul and his colleagues in the end managed to find the best option for me (and that’s definitely not their job to do). Thanks a lot to the team of Su Merced.

I loved everything & didn’t want to leave. The location is great, the property is lovely, the room was perfect, and the breakfast was yummy. Raul, however, was simply wonderful! He was so friendly and helpful, like we’d been friends for years. Hands down, one of my favorite hotels ever.
