This was the highlight of our 4 week stay in Japan. The ryokan was so peaceful and felt very authentic. We had an amazing balcony that looked out over a beautiful garden. The staff were fantastically helpful and accommodating. They helped us with luggage storage before check in, bringing the bags to our room, booking us a dinner reservation, and a free shuttle to the bus stop. They were just so kind and helpful.

The guesthouse is in a great location, not too far from the centre of the town. The staff are friendly, and helpful attending to your needs. They even let myself and partner borrow yukatas after checkout to do one last round of onsen hopping. The garden is particularly beautiful, with the water wheel and autumn colours.

It was a little expensive, but this is normal for a traditional style property.

The onsen bath was beautiful, the food was great and I loved the view from our room.

There is no pedestrian walk around the hotel, and breakfast was too early for us. (If I'd known the time in advance, I wouldn't have booked the food)

Very nice public baths, well equipped with all amenities.

Clean, quiet and relaxing. It was a nice place to visit.

We asked for a restaurant recommendation, and the one that was given was not very good and was outside of town, I was hoping for something in town but I don't speak Japanese.
