The photos don’t do this place justice! It’s a lot nicer in real life. Everything was spotless and clean! Very impressed! You get your moneys worth staying here, staff were exceptional, we were upgraded upon arrival to a lake view room which had stunning views. Very quiet room, no noise disturbance throughout our entire stay (4days). Facilities were great, sauna was lovely, pool area always kept clean and tidy, spa gets cleaned twice a day which is great. Kids enjoyed the pizza we ordered from the bar. Coffee was great! So impressed by this resort I would definitely recommend staying here especially families. All the staff we came across were so friendly and eager to help and made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything. Location is close to the city centre, walkable distance however we did Uber back as hill was quite steep, Ubers will cost you no more than $13 one way to city centre. $45 to the airport.

Le SPA (piscine, bain à remous et sauna) est très bien entretenu. L'hotel dispose également de plusieurs petits espaces détente en extérieur avec une très belle vue sur le lac de Queenstown. De manière générale, la vue sur le lac est vraiment magnifique, que ce soit au petit-déjeuner, au restaurant, ou les espaces relax. (Notre chambre avait vue sur l'espace piscine et non pas sur le lac en revanche) Enfin, la salle de sport est très bien équipée !

Au petit déjeuner, assez peu de diversité pour un petit déjeuner non salé. Les jus de fruits semblaient à base de nectar et avaient un goût peu naturel. Le room service propose une carte assez large, mais les pizzas sont absolument A EVITER ! Beaucoup de sauce industrielle (aigre-douce ou aioli) recouvre les ingrédients... Enfin, la nuitée est globalement plutôt chère, mais Queenstown est une ville assez chère en général donc on ne peut pas vraiment le reprocher à l'établissement

Mercure is absolutely amazing value for money! Although the buildings and rooms are outdated, they are clean and comfortable. Room 210 had an incredible view, day & night. The staff are so lovely! Thanks so much for the upgrade! We will definitely be back.

The accommodation areas are quite outdated, but they are comfortable

Spectacular view from our room to the water and snowcapped mountains! The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We loved sitting in the hotel bar area in the evening to have a drink and chat by the fireplace. The bar menu was delicious too! The restaurant was beautiful but it would have been good if it further catered to families in the style of dishes offered. The property has a fabulous outdoor terrace and swing which has a beautiful view. The hotel also had a pool (too cold to use) and hot tubs - perfect for the winter season! The hotel has a guest laundry available as well which was really appreciated. The staff were lovely and very accommodating which made check in and out a breeze.

While the location was close to the Queenstown CBD, it was too far and steep to walk to and from for us (due to a knee injury), so we needed to drive to and from for dinner etc. The parking lot at the hotel was often full when returning in the evening after dinner. The breakfast seemed quite overpriced for the standard of food on offer.
