Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat durch Besitzerwechsel im Vergleich zu 2013 einige negative Veränderungen (Strandzugang, Terrasse…) mitgemacht- leider!

Great location very close to the night market.

It’s a bit dark a lot of black tarmac & black paving around the pool areas. The bedroom felt a bit confined, no natural light due to the bath being in the outside space. It didn’t feel ever so welcoming.

Limited restaurant and food options inside the resort

Eine ganz tolle Suite mit eigenem Pool (ca. 6m x 3m) und wirklich schönen Zimmern. Dies war auch der Grund für die Wahl dieses Hotels. Aber die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und der Strand ist wirklich toll.

Es sind Kleinigkeiten, die nicht so richtig zum Gesamtbild passen. Warum gibt es keine Handtücher im Strandbereich? Und wenn man während der Zimmerreinigung mit den Strandtüchern am Meer ist, werden keine sauberen Strandtücher ins Zimmer gelegt? Gibt es in Thailand wirklich nur drei Obstsorten, die man zum Frühstück anbieten kann? Zudem könnte an der einen oder anderen Stelle mal ein bisschen renoviert / neu gestrichen werden. Die Sonne und der Regen setzen natürlich insbesondere Holzmaterialien schon ziemlich zu...

Die Hydro-Poolvilla hat uns die nötige Privatsphäre gegeben, die wir brauchten, um unseren Jetlag zu mildern. Der zusätzliche Zugang vom Badezimmer in den Pool war schon besonders. Sehr positiv war noch die Nähe zur City & zum Beach. Dieser wurde immer gepflegt & war der Schönste in Lamai. 😇 Das Frühstück war lecker & das Personal überaus freundlich & ständig am Wirbeln, dass es Einem gut geht. Wir würden wieder kommen. 😇

Unser Tipp für das Management: - den Kühlschrank bestücken - den Gutschein für Softdrinks auf Cocktails 🍹 erweitern - die Preise fürs Dinner moderater gestalten. Würde man z.B 20 €/Person anstatt fast 30 € verlangen, wären vermutlich auch mehr Gäste bereit, im Restaurant zu essen, denn das Ambiente ist durchaus beeindruckend.

The location is perfect with the shops, bars and restaurants of Lamai beach being on your doorstep. The pool and private beach were amazing.

The rooms could do with being modernised as felt a bit dated.

Loved our private beachfront pool and daily room clean was very thorough and quick. The breakfast staff were also very accommodating and hospitable to us and especially to our 2yo son. The beach was also quiet and beautiful during the day with really nice and friendly vendors and at night next door had fire performers on the beach which was always entertaining. Walking out of the hotel to have the night markets next door was handy as well as everything a short stroll away from massage palours to restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacies. You could not really beat the location and it was still surprisingly very quiet in our villa. I also organised a floating breakfast in our villa one morning which was amazing and arrived on time. It was a special treat and was worth it! Having the beachfront pool villa was great and so nice to have a private space/pool with uninterrupted views of the beach. They kept the sandy area of the beach in front of the villa free and the beach chairs stopped a few meters shy of the villa. We chose this villa as we have a 2yo and wanted a separate bedroom so he can sleep while we still had freedom to swim and hangout without disturbing him. Even though we were able to do it, there is no communal area iniside to hangout in the a/c as it is just bedroom, hallway and bathroom so we had to hang outside. The a/c unit is also located in the room so if the door is shut (which is was when he was asleep), the rest of the villa was super warm.

We were super excited to arrive and decided to have dinner at the hotels restaurant which was super quiet with only 1 other guest in the restaurant (it was a friday night). We ordered traditional thai food and was super disappointed with the portions which were tiny and well overpriced. Breakfast was ok. We were there for 7 breakfasts and it was the same everyday except the style of noodles, 1 juice and the fruits got changed up now and then. It was a little underwhelming but the fresh egg and roti station were good. The grounds of the resort are beautiful but some stuff is just dated and needs polishing up like the kids and communal pools. We also would have stayed on the beach beds a lot more if there was better bar service on the beach. It was either really slow or non-existent, so we didn't bother much on the beds and stayed in our villa on hot days instead. We would have spent a lot more money on drinks if the service was better. Also I booked 2 massages through the front desk for the following afternoon only to turn up with no one there. One of the other staff had to call the massage service directly. He staff member said this was a common occurrence when booked through the reception desk. The massage was the best I had during my stay so the wait was worth it but still annoying. I wanted to also book some tours through the front desk but they didn't seem to know much about them and just handed me a book of flyers to sift through. If looking to book a tour, there are places outside the resort a short walk away that you can book with and can get a discount from too.

Breakfast selection, location, facilities (pool, gym, private pool). The view is also amazing to the beach.

The resort is very beautiful! The beach is great, as well as the facilities. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, as well. Breakfast was also good. The location is fantastic as their are many restaurants and shops nearby.

The A/C in my room was not functioning properly, so it was hot and uncomfortable at times. I informed the staff know, and I think they looked into it, but they did not resolve the issue. Two other groups of people I vacationed with, also had A/C issues with their rooms.

The phone in my room didn’t work, i told night reception twice who told me it would be replaced but it never was , very loud music which went on until 12 every night, jacuzzi not working told reception but not repaired

Perfect location, near shops & restaurants also close to the night market.

Great location, loved having breakfast overlooking the beach. Resort was beautiful, the rooms were really well set out and maintained. Very thoughtful staff - the small personal touches were just lovely.

Bed was a bit hard, and our room was on the night market side, so we had music playing til midnight (to their credit, it was good music!)

Views are incredible, proximity to beach is on the doorstep, and staff are wonderful.

Wifi was generally non existent - literally useless. Extremely annoying when trying to do any basic holiday/ travelling admin. Had to go down to lobby and was very very poor. Definitely not for digital nomad/ wfh type. Also noisy from background/ street music etc in the “A” section apartments until midnight - fine for me but would advise if with kids not to stay in “A” section.

Oh the whole room was gorgeous. Spacious and balcony was a decent size too with the bathtub. The beach is right in front of the hotel and we floated in the waves every day. Staff is friendly and room service is great. Great location for massages, bars and night market. We loved our stay here, extended it, and would come back. Things to look out for. There is another bar/hotel beside this one that blasts loud music in the afternoons and evenings. Sonif you want a peaceful, quiet beach experiencw then that's not possible. Obviously this is not the Pavilion's fault! The bathroom door has gaps above and below it 😬

it was in a tranquil relaxing oasis setting 150m from the the private beach. Surrounded by so much greenery. Area was quiet enough but close enough to restaurants shops bars etc. Staff was also very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. We also loved our private pool. Definitely the highlight.

The beachfront was perfect - white sandy beach with warm water, no distracting jet skis and loud music around. The hotel has two awesome pools and plenty of beach chairs. The food was also really great!

There was some renovations taking place in the main restaurant area so it didn't give off a very luxurious vibe.

The place is amazing! The beachfront view is spectacular, and the hotel's location is perfect. But what really sets it apart is the excellent service

Such a beautiful resort, right on the beach, the gardens were immaculate, both pools excellent, bars fabulous and food all good, although we ate at the night market each night as the Tom Yum soup was yhe best! Our room was excellent too.

they wanted to charge us for an extra bed even though we booked for 5 people. Wi-Fi reception is not good. air conditioning is noisy and weak. lack of shaded sun beds near the pool. Gym is too hot to have a workout, many “out of order” equipment
