Great property, comfy beds, lots of room!

This is a beautiful home in the historic district within walking distance to many attractions. Once we understood that the property is almost two hundred years old we had a better appreciation for the parts of the home that were dated and rickety. We needed four bedrooms for our group and even though this house had ample beds there were really not four separate bed rooms. The bed pictured in the family room in the basement did not exist, but there were two sofa beds in its place which our group made use of. In addition the pool was very neglected, beer cans were in the drain with a lot of debris and the water was cloudy. We called the property manager and there was a pool person out the next day who did clean the pool however the water remained cloudy for our entire stay.

It was great. There are a lot of stairs so if you have difficulty on steps with luggage, beware, or have someone do it for you. Lot's of comfortable beds. Property manager very responsive. We didn't know the location of the fuse box. It poured the last day and there were lots of leaks - it's an old home, but the property manager seemed to be on it. We enjoyed our stay!

Was a very nice rental. A little old but that added to the charm. We had a few issues that were addressed by the rental company on a timely manner. Basement needs a little work to get the musty smell out of it.

We were 10 women staying and had plenty of room. Home was in a safe a beautiful neighborhood. It was spotless when we arrived and the beauty and history of the home was perfect. The beds were soooo comfortable and all the bathroom were perfect for a bunch of ladies! The pool was great for the very hot days but it could you some TLC. One set of stairs in the pool was broken and very sharp. Luckily no one was hurt. There were many missing pool tiles the pool was a little cloudy. The backyard was not well manicured but it didn’t stop us from having a great time. There were many stairs leading into the house and it was tough getting luggage up and down them. Don’t recommend it for anyone who struggles with stairs.
We truly had a great experience and recommend this home. Loved the southern charm and history of the historic gem.

There were 11 of us and we all really loved the house, plenty of room. It was too cold to go in the pool, but we loved sitting by the pool in the morning with our coffee. Loved the 2 parking spots and the elevator. Perfect location.

The house had plenty of room for all 12 of us girls. The spiraling staircase seemed dangerous and the elevator was a little annoying to operate. The house was certainly old and needed some updates but it was still a nice place to stay. We were able to walk to most of the places we went to on river street and city market.

10 ladies enjoyed a great birthday weekend in Savannah, staying at Seona House. Basement showers didn’t warm up, but there were plenty of other options. Remember to bring extra kitchen towels and oven mitts!

Overall disappointing experience! We rented the Seona House for the X-mas Holiday. Knowing that record cold temperatures were forecast, we contacted the Company and requested that they verify that things were in working order days prior to our arrival. They responded that they would send a technician to verify things. We also requested that the pool be heated and ready. They stated there would be an extra charge for this that we agreed to pay.
The Good: The house is historic and quaint. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to the river-walk and other areas of interest. Having two well-stocked kitchen areas was great for meal preparations during the stay with our extended family.
The Bad: The morning after we arrived, we reported that there was no hot water on the first level. Lyonya texted back that the pipes were frozen and that they should thaw out as the day goes by. They did not. We texted again the next day and requested that things be fixed. A technician came by later and spent about 15 minutes at the water heater. He stated that we would have hot water in a few hours (after water in the tank was heated) and promptly left. Four hours later, we checked for hot water and there was none. We again reported that there was no hot water at 8 PM. Mel texted us back and said that he was sorry to hear that. We had no hot water on the first level of the house during our entire stay. My Son and his pregnant wife had to go up 3 levels in order to shower. This was a hardship and completely unacceptable!
The Ugly: At the time we initially reported no hot water, we also informed the Company that the sink on the 4th level was plugged. A Plumber was dispatched two days later to fix things. He stated that the plug was more complicated than normal and worked for over 2 hours to fix it. It was inconvenient to not have a working sink in the 4th level bathroom for most of our stay. The pool was warm and usable, but it had not been cleaned. There were numerous floating leaves and considerable debris at the bottom when we arrived. We paid extra to have the pool available and expected better! The House was advertised as 4 bedrooms but the 4th bedroom is closet-sized with a child's bed located directly off of the 4th level bedroom. Advertising this as a 4-bedroom home is a misnomer. If you need a 4th bedroom, this is not the place to rent.

Aged but, mostly, cared for. The furniture and beds were comfortable and of a nice quality. The kitchen was large enough to socialize while preparing meals. Decent proximity to the cities' activities. Owner & Property Mgt seem to be the biggest issue.
Minor issues:
Arrived to the home at 68 degrees when the check-in instructions indicated that Property Mgt would be setting it to 70, the lowest value permitted, before arrival as there was risk of coil freeze at less than 70.
Pool was not cleaned before arrival (schedule had it cleaned and pool guy showed up during the weekend).
Pool was 'heated' but only to a lukewarm temperature.
Inside railing was loose and wobbly for an entire flight of steps.
Outside railing was damaged with the top end piece set at the base.
1 bed was completely missing from the property. Replaced with a pull out couch.
There was clearly over a week's worth of overflowing trash at the garbage bins and attracting insects.
Many of the window shutters were damaged or missing control rods.
The outside garden's door would not fit in the door frame and close, leaving open access to the outside.
Major issue:
The downstairs 'master' bathroom toilet's plumbing is hooked into an old washing machine drain. By the third morning, foul backflow was coming out of the improperly sealed washing drain pipe.

The property was clean and in a good location. However there are not 4 bedrooms and the hot water does not work properly. The so called 4 bedroom, which is a closet inside another bedroom, does not have air conditioning. We could not use the tub in the master bathroom because it does not have hot water. They said they would send maintenance to check it out but no one ever showed up. The best management did was to offer to bring a fan for the 4th bedroom.

Terrific location in amazing city
Two of our party were 'first timers' to Savannah. Staying in this beautiful home was a perfect introduction. The home sits on Pulaski square; one street over from picturesque Jones Street; great walkability; close to restaurants and shopping. Staying in a historic house like this is a real treat. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated but there is so much historic charm to the house as well. GREAT time!

The house is a very nice property. Located in a good location. The home itself was very clean when we arrived. The pool was nice especially due to the heat. It was warm enough to walk right in. Management was quick to return text messages regarding any issues. However, we were disappointed that there was overflowing garbage/trash can right next to the pool. None of which was any of our garbage. Management was contacted and told us they would remove it. Two days later it was still there. The stench from the garbage while trying to swim was unpleasant and amount of bugs/flies it was attracting was also unpleasant. We ended up having to stay on one end of the pool because of this. Wasn’t removed until the afternoon on our last day there. When we reached out again regarding the issue they said they would contact someone again. No apology from management. The backyard in general could use some maintenance. Umbrella was falling apart, one table was rusted that would be typically used to eat on. The lounge chairs were newer and nice. Pool was well kept. Photos of the backyard were a little deceiving. Like stated before, the home was nice and the pool, but lack of action from management was disappointing.

OMG, This incredible home generously allows you to embrace all the Savannah Historic District has to offer. Grand entrance, marble stairs, foyer, 14' Ceilings, pocket doors, grand master suite, windows, windows, windows, balconies overlooking Pulaski Sq and private swimming pool. Well equipped gourmet kitchen, lower level with second kitchen, bar, wine cooler, mature landscaping and 8' walled yard around pool. Quiet neighborhood. We will definately be back again. xoxo

Amazing rental!
This property was SO amazing! There were 12 of us girls and there were plenty of space for all of us! The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, the pool and outdoor space was such a nice bonus, and the location was absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops and there were plenty of ubers for places we wanted to go a little farther from our rental. The parking space was a really nice to have, too! We were able to check in by a code and our host checked in on us to make sure everything was working properly and we had everything we needed. Overall, I would absolutely return to this rental and recommend to others!

Perfect girls weekend house
Overall the house was perfect for a group of 11 girls for a girls weekend! There was a ton of space and large open common areas for everyone to hang out. There is also a beautiful balcony and the home is in a perfect location where you can either walk or take a short Uber to anything you’d want to go to. The house is older and there was an issue with the upstairs bathroom that took a day to fix and there was one less bed than the listing stated (but 2 pull out couches in the basement area). The check in and out process was easy and the management company was responsive - would definitely recommend for a large group!

Great long weekend in Savannah historic district
Spent a long weekend with 7 friends from around the country. This was the perfect house in a fantastic location. The house mixes modern amenities with historical ambience very well. We had a few issues, which is to be expected in an older house, but they were taken care of quickly and with a great attitude. The response time to every inquiry was remarkable. We were able to walk to City Market and the River area, as well as to St. John's Cathedral and many restaurants and shops, within 5-15 minutes. Highly recommend this house and this location!

We absolutely love Savannah and this home allowed for 2 families to enjoy a lovely few days together- while being in walking distance of so much! The home was not in pristine shape- historic, eclectic, a bit worn- but beautiful!! Loved the set up with a full apartment in the bottom level and a super cute top level with multiple beds for the big kids. Thanks for a WONDERFUL stay!!

Nice location, beautiful home, but some issues
Overall, we had a nice stay. The location is great and the house itself is beautiful. We did run into a couple issues during our stay, one being the AC initially didn’t work on the bottom floor (but maintenance was quick to resolve), and the other being some flooding in the bottom floor bathrooms. This was unfortunate as it left a group of 12 without 2 bathrooms for a day until it was fixed.

We were very pleased with the Sedona house. We were able to walk to City Market as well as many of the historic places within 15-20 minutes. The house was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful home!
This home was absolutely beautiful, in an amazing location, and perfect for our bachelorette group. The communication prior to arrival was great and the home was exactly as advertised. However, we encountered two issues during our stay: • The first was that we had planned to only use the pool for 6 hours of the entire 3-day stay. We told the management team this prior to arrival to make sure the pool would be usable. Unfortunately though, during that window, our pool had to be serviced leading to our group being shut out of the pool for 1.5 hours in the hottest time of the day, the only day we were using it. • Secondly and more regrettably, a fuse blew in the home’s top floor which affected the air conditioning unit on that floor. We called the management 3 times about this issue and were told someone would come to fix it, but it was never resolved or followed up with. Five of our guests were displaced to couches on the lower floors and were unable to use their rooms due to the heat, putting a damper on an otherwise good experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Seona House. Everything was perfect. The kids had fun in the pool at night. It was located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and so much more. This house was awesome! The pool was clean and enjoyable. The house itself was huge and clean. Had a little bit of everything you needed. The location was walking distance to anything you needed and the downtown area. Felt safe in this area too. Would definitely book again! The company was a text away if we needed anything. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Great Place!
We thoroughly enjoyed this home for our daughter’s family-only wedding at Chatham Park. There is a lot of space to spread out and the pool was perfect! The location was amazing. There were several fabulous restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood is gorgeous. You won’t go wrong with this place!

Our Family was very much looking forward to our trip to Savannah and I tried my best to research and find a clean place to stay with a private pool for my 3 boys. Unfortunately upon arrival the pool was in a very poor condition and clearly hadn't been cleaned or treated in some time and to my family's disappointment was not usable. I messaged Southern Belle on the Sunday we arrived and the response was pretty timely however after 3 different pool service visits the pool wasn't clean until the Friday, the day before we had to leave. I feel like we paid to get the pool cleaned for the next guests. The house is spacious and very well located but in clear need of some updating and not to the condition demonstrated in photos with Faucets and windows that don't work and the shower areas that are simply not nice places to be. I feel like despite my best efforts to make a good choice for my family and pay a lot for it , I didn't get it right and the house was not up to the standard promised or that I had hoped for.

Had a great experience using VRBO for our trip. This was our first time using Vrbo. The house was clean and was the perfect location - within walking distance of most everything. The pool was an added perk with kiddos!
