the yard could do with a little TLC

The location of the property was near to family.

On a busy road. Unclean pans in the kitchen & kitchen sink needed a good clean. Dirty bathmat that needed a wash. Bathroom needs updating and hook on the back of the door falling off.

The property had everything needed to simply ‘live in’. We ate out every day, had a food delivery or take away. With my two sons they enjoyed the stay and the facilities that were available. Worthy of a visit is the Arrighis cafe for a breakfast, ice cream treat and pizza take away at the roundabout at the end of the road. There is a Premier convenience store within a small walking distance. A garage in the opposite direction selling very cheap fuel was very useful.

I can’t say there was anything of significance. Looking at the other reviews you can’t please everyone but if you want new and luxurious then you pay for that.

Lovely comfortable house with all facilities. Lots of free parking outside. Good wifi. Great location for days out to the beach, Hadrians Wall and Newcastle. Loads of great restaurants and takeaway places locally. Dog friendly. Host very easy to contact and provided good information

No downstairs toilet

Home from Home lovely stay . Lovely antique furniture, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Patio a super sun trap. All you need in the kitchen to cook at home although lots of lovely places to eat out. Ideal location for visits to Seaton Sluice, Alnwick, Amble, Whitley Bay and lovely remote beaches of coast. Great communication with owner much appreciated.

On Busy main road but got used to it after few days and inside house you forget.
