We enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for our family and kids. There was plenty of space, pool toys in the outdoor box, basketball hoop, a couple of bikes, etc. It needed some maintenance while there (AC not working and a toilet fill valve broken) the property management team was incredibly quick and communicative to have it serviced with the issues fixed the same day. The house could use a few more pots and pans along with silverware. It was clean, well stocked with towels, linens, soap, and shampoos, perfect pool for the kids, great views onto the 7th hole of the Plantation golf course, surrounded by large trees for additional shade and in a decent location to get to various places easily. Most everything is about 10 minutes away: Coligny Beach, Harbour Town, Sea Pines Beach is even closer, but if you're not there before 8A, there's a good chance you'll have to park near the trolley pickup location (maybe 200-300 yards from the house) and ride it there, so super convenient, grocery stores (Publix and Harris Teeter) and some restaurants, are about 10 minutes back into town as well. Overall, we would definitely consider staying there again with family and friends.

We loved the location of this home, because it was a short bike ride to both the beach and Harbortown—and even closer to coffee/bookstore!
We opted to use boardwalk 45 every day, at the end of Lawton Drive, and it was much less busy than the beach at Sea Pines Beach Club. we rented a bike with a cart and hauled our stuff to and from the beach every day using the cart. it worked great for our two families.
The house could use a few updates, but overall the beds were comfortable. The living space was large enough for two families, and the pool was really nice! we regretted that there was no option to heat the spa (only) during the summer. But overall we had a great trip and thought the house was a great value.

There is not a ton to be fixed and most of this is on the property management company. The house basically came very poorly outfitted for a 1 week stay. The owners could update the kitchen utensils pots and pans. If you plan to cook in your vacation home you need to bring just about everything. I had to buy a frying pan at Harris teeter.
We could not use the oool and hot tub. I asked vacasa how to use it and they informed me that you had to request that a week in advance for pool heating. They never mentioned that in ANY of the information pre check in.
The fan in the bedroom did not work
The tv set up and all having Roku was very good as was general location of the house.

property was as described. but there were a couple of hiccups: 1. although i paid extra in advance to have the pool heated for my group (which includes the upper section which looks like a hot tub) - it was not turned on before we arrived. we had to call and report this and the next morning the pool service company came out and turned on the heat. then it took about a full day or more for it to heat up to the right temperature. i asked for and received a refund for the days we did not have heat in the pool. so this was a let down. but when the pool heat was on - the small “hot tub-like raised part of the pool” was fantastic for our group of 5. luckily it actually was not as hot as the typical super-hot hot tub - but rather just hot enough - so we were able to stay in it for hours at a time. that was the high light of the house. i would suggest reminding vacasa to verify that it was turned on a few days before your arrival.

We are a group of women in our 50s. Every year for the last 13 years we have taken a girls trip. This property is our favorite. There is plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The outside space really makes the house even more incredible. And the easy access to the beach club is a bonus as well. We will be back next year!

The house was overall perfect for our family trip. Perfect size and location. Having our own pool was great. We came in and the pool was a little dirty. Called and someone came to clean it a few days later. One bathroom had a broken drawer and mold in it. Broken trundle bed, good thing we didn’t need to use it. Some ceiling fans weren’t working. One bedroom tv didn’t work. Grill was dirty and didn’t work. These were all little things that didn’t truly effect our stay too much but could be improved! Otherwise we loved our stay.

We loved the space in this home. It’s an 8 minute bike ride to the beach and a little more to the light house. The private pool was a luxury for us. The pool cleaners came twice and kept the water balanced. The garbage collector comes to the rear of the home and grabs the cans. It was a little surprise that we didn’t expect. We really enjoyed the large sectional sofa and main gathering area. The decor is quite nice.

PROs: house was clean, pool was awesome with a great view, loved the layout - ranch with 4 bedrooms (each with private bath) plus a bonus half bath by the garage. Publix grocery store very convenient. Beach was crowded but nice. Near Lawton horse ranch for trail rides and a petting zoo for kids.
CONs: the vacasa management company had very poor communication with us. When we arrived Saturday night the kitchen sink handle was broken off, and so was the back door handle (to get to the porch and pool) we could not use the sink or door for several days which was unbelievable to us. The mgmt company continued to tell us someone “local” would reach out to us but no one called or came until Wednesday afternoon. Once fixed, we enjoyed the house.
The only other downside is the beach access. Sea pines does not have a place to park vehicles for the beach. Everyone rides a bike. This was not ideal for the grandparents who were with us. It’s difficult to drop off by car as well. We will not stay at sea pines again for this reason. If your family bikes, it will be a great ride for you. The house does not provide bikes. We rented locally.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this home for 3 nights. We are a family of 5, and we were joined by my sister's family of 6. Having this house made our trip so enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were very convenient and the house was spacious enough that we had plenty of room for all 11 of us.
The kitchen is very bare bones (no salt/pepper, plasic wrap, foil, pantry items, extra trash bags, lighter), and there were only a few beach towels, so plan accordingly.
The house was clean and orderly. There were some toiletries, but the bath mats in one of the bathrooms were filthy. It was not a major deal since the rest of the cleaning was top-notch.
The community has lots of amenities and we could walk to many of its cool features from the house.
We would stay here again. Thanks!

We loved our Hilton Head experience. This house worked perfect for a couples get away. 3 king size beds!!! Great for our 3 couple get away. Didn’t need to use the bunk room but it would have been perfect had our kids come with us.

The overall house was perfect for our party. It was spacious enough for three couples to live comfortable but upon arrival the house wasn’t clean especially the patio furniture. Several items were addressed with the Vacasa staff.
The pool and spa was not heated as requested because of a faulty part in the heating system. I understand things break but the pool was heated several days before arrival and no one verified the temperature.
The Vacasa staff was very helpful, apologetic and did take care of the issue with a refund. I would rent this place again.

Our stay was very nice. There were only four of us and the house was probably way more than we needed but the location was ideal. We came on the heels of Hurricane Ian so the driveway and pool area were quite littered with debris. I contacted the property manager and they came later to finish what we’d begun as we wanted to hang by the pool. We found a broom and off we went! I have never rented through an agency before so we were surprised to find nothing in the kitchen i.e. salt and oepper, spices, cooking oil or Pam. Also the frying pan situation was not good. The only 2 pans appeared very old and unusable. Also mattress toppers and new pillows would do very well here. Beds were only fairly comfortable.
Poolside furniture was great except the cushions definitely need replacing. They are very stained and the ties are broken on some.
Our favorite part was being green side of one of the holes on the golf course. We struck up some fun conversations with the golfers. Overall a great stay. Just a few things need addressing.

The house is nicely situated walking distance to Beach Club, Lawson Stables and Seapines Center. Great location and comfortable space, nice kitchen and bathrooms. It was a bit dark, the bed linens are incredibly shabby, and the porch furniture looks like it is off the street.

Hilton house
Place was very nice. A few things we noticed when we arrived. Knob in Master bathroom drawer was broken. We checked in at 4. I’m assuming they cleaned that day. The back porch could have been wiped off and cleaned. Glass table was covered in it. Clearly it wasn’t wiped that day. Seemed like the cleaning was just minimal. Beds were not that comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Sea Pines. Great location.

Long weekend get-away
The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was great. Easy bike ride to the beach (had bikes for us there!) The house was gorgeous, private, and spacious. The only negative was the beds were not very comfortable. I'd still stay here again though!

Love the place here are a few things to note.
Great property! Very clean, we really liked having 4 bathrooms and a half because we had 4 families (10 total) so it really helped a lot. Lots of space, and great view of the golf course. Love that there is a trolly stop very near by for the beach.
The only negatives were that it wasnt disclosed in the listing that you have to pay (a large sum) for a weekly pool pass, it was refunded after the trip though! the lady we called was very helpful. Also the pictures show a pool and that made me assume it was close by but it is about a 10 min drive and a 25min bike ride to the pool. But its right next to salty dog things so thats nice.
Beach is far too but we figured it out eventually.
Overall this place is great! Neighborhood is great! Location of house we wished was more central but not bad at all! You'll get your biking in.
This house says in October 2020 there will be a pool.. THAT WOULD MAKE THIS HOUSE BASICALLY PERFECT.

Beautiful and comfortable home!
This was a very comfortable and beautifully decorated home for a vacation with family. The beds and linens were VERY comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.
The 2 issues we had were:
1) We missed the location of the lockbox and went a few times to the house, then an old Vacasa office until we finally found the lockbox - lost an hour in this. It would have been nice to have highlighted the lockbox address on the reminder email or texts.
2) The beach is not close by. You can either walk or take a shuttle. The parking pass does not allow you to park at the beach access. This was a pain with kids and luggage although it was known in advance.
