Absolutely suited to our purpose of celebrating a wedding nearby in Deer Park (also recommended). Clean, warm, large, well equipped with a phenomenal garden.

Stunning Barn and garden, which is better in real life than the photos show. The hosts left us a Devonshire Cream tea on arrival which was so lovely after our long drive from Manchester. Really peaceful and comfortable and spacious accommodation and we would love to return.

It was amazing. No shortage of anything. Querky house with large bedrooms, all having solid reclaimed interesting wood furniture and ample storage. Books, DVDs, Maps and brochures aplenty. An ideal centre for the friends and family staying following my son's wedding. Places within the house to be private or the huge lounge area for companiable TV or chat. Also a fabulously appointed kitchen. The garden was truly a gem. Wildlife prolific. Utterly restful place. Lots of sitting areas, barbeque and pizza oven. The village has a great pub and vineyard, where the food is delicious.. Grocery shops unobtrusively nearby and an amazing farm fresh meat/organic food shop just up the road. A garden centre where the staff were so helpful and the tartare sauce is the best I've ever tasted. An oasis of peace to recharge

Nothing although some effort is needed to access some bedrooms. Perhaps not so suitable for the elderly. However, worth the climb!!

The whole aesthetic was beautiful. The entertaining space was amazing. The surroundings are beautiful. It had all the appliances and facilities. The touch of scones and spreads was a lovely touch.

The mattresses were very hard and bedding very thin. But some people like that I guess. The bedroom light for the master is outside the bedroom which wasn't fun in the early hours thinking it was the light for the hall.

Beds were pretty rough and place getting pretty tatty as far as furnishings, but great for a party house

It was a bit cold, kitchen equipment whilst pretty good, needed a few minor things, several lamp shades were too low - I’m 6’3” and smacked my head on one in a bathroom innumerable times. Overall very little to fault it.

The layout, cozy, facilities, clean, garden, fire and comfortable

No dislikes, would have liked better dogs walks close by but that’s just a personal choice. In hindsight an extra bathroom but again personal choice

The property was exactly what we were after! The pictures don’t do it justice, we really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for more. The garden is lovely and the kitchen is perfect for staying in and cooking a nice meal.
