The receptionist was very friendly, upgraded my room. Nice big room which was cleaned every day.

We were unable to contact owner outside of reception hours as we had no phone on our first day in UK. Having accidentally left something in our room when checking out at 7am, we had to wait for another guest to open the door as no one answered the door bell

We were given a very warm welcome when we arrived at the guest house. The rooms were clean and comfortable and offered all the amenities we could want for our stay.

The location was just right, parking was fine. The chap who let's you in is a wonderful guy and cares about your welcome, getting into the rooms without difficulty, and keeps in touch so you know what you're doing. Never let him go!

The bed was awful. Mattress was so work I could feel the slats under the mattress. One of the worst night's I've ever had. Why can't hotels/inns/guest houses etc. have good mattresses? I don't care about decor, get the bed right please. I won't be back unless the mattresses are upgraded. You can get a good one for £300, You'll make your money back on it quickly.

Mark, the receptionist, was nothing but excellent. Very helpful and a great host. Good shower water pressure. Ample free parking.

The bed and pillows were lumpy, and the room was very plain. It needs to be refreshed.

The host was extremely accommodating and provided for my additional needs (I have a disability). The room was spacious and well equipped. Although the large residential property is not modern it was well maintained, clean and the efforts of our host to ensure a pleasant stay were really appreciated.

This establishment is on a busy road and although there was no noise from traffic, it can be difficult to turn into the drive in rush hour.

The location was great with lots of parking. Mark is so lovely and friendly.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable (although this could be down to personal preference as I prefer a harder mattress).

Perfect location. Clean and welcoming. I arrived late and left early (I had an early morning Heathrow pickup). The instructions on what to do on arrival were sent to me by video and worked really well - even though it was pitch black when I arrived I knew exactly what to do and where to go. The room was lovely - plenty of tea, coffee and milk available. Would definitely visit again - maybe next time to visit some of the interesting tourist attractions in the area.

Convenient for Slough where I was parking before flying. Room was clean and comfortable, Mark, who arranged my keys etc is very friendly. Good price for the night, and free overnight parking. Will go again

Only minor downside is pulling out of the driveway onto a busy road, but that's not the hotel's fault.
