It is surrounded by a very large garden that I enjoyed walking through every day. I stayed there for 11 days together with my husband, and it was a pleasurable time and very relaxing. When we arrived, the owner showed us around and left us a generous welcome packet, with delicacies from Tenerife. For those who are interested in this house, it is necessary to have a car, and I would recommend a small car but powerful, as there are lot of hills in the landscape, and it is fun to drive around an see the villages, the volcano etc. This is a real dream property. I would definitely like to stay there again.

There are not enough words to tell how wonderful our stay at this lovely place was. We had a long travel to reach Teneriffe, but the moment we sat foot in the garden it was all worth it. A very nice "welcome back" had been prepared for us, so we could just relax from start. Before arriving we were e-mailed a list with recommendations of places to visit, restaurants to go to and where we could find the best markets. We can highly recommend a stay at this lovely villa and we will definately be back.

Isabel and Antonio, the owners of this wonderful property, were charming. An amazing welcome pack with lots of local produce, including wine. The garden is a relaxing oasis, so peaceful and quiet, with lots of special places to watch and listen to the birds and a balcony overlooking the sea. The property was very clean and well equipped and the new kitchen/diner perfect for your evening meal. One of the best hoildays we've had in this part of the Canary Islands. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and both enjoyed the quality of the house and most of all the incredible garden. Many many places to sit and relax and enjoy the total peace and quite. We absolutely loved this place! Part of a much larger rural property, which the owners use as their summer retreat, we had the place to ourselves for 10 blissful days in late January. Of course, the beautiful (and perhaps not entirely typical!) winter weather helped, but notwithstanding, the secluded setting, stunning tropical gardens, peace & tranquility, and character accommodation all combined to make our stay very special indeed. And, all within easy reach of Puerto de la Cruz, and many other local attractions. OK, a car is needed to get anywhere, the beautiful swimming pool is unheated, and the accommodation couldn't be called 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. However, these 'gripes' becomes somewhat irrelevant when counter-balanced against the truly unique nature of this wonderful property. Garden lovers particularly will be impressed with the flair and imagination that the owners have put into creating what can only be described as a tropical paradise, with an amazing variety of trees, shrubs, and hard landscaping that includes paved walkways throughout, an incredible array of pots, pithoi, and ornaments, and characterful garden buildings throughout. On a more mundane level, the welcome grocery 'pack' left by the owners, which included wine, beer, fruit juice, bread, ham, cheese, and a huge bowl of [mainly] tropical fruit from the gardens, was also a much appreciated gesture. All in all, a wonderful and unique experience - highly recommended.

The property provided the backdrop to an incredibly relaxing holiday in a fabulous location. The owners were kind enough to provide food and wine on arrival, enabling a quiet first evening which set the tone for the week ahead. The beauty and elegance of the endless botanical gardens created a reluctance to leave the premises for a large majority of the stay. The grounds are so private and unique we rarely felt the need to venture out. There is a splendid pool area and a glorious cliff-top view overlooking a quiet beach which is within easy walking distance. A car is recommended although bus routes are close by. On the whole a truly wonderful experience in the most beautiful location.

We stayed there Dec/Jan. and enjoyed 'spring weather'. The house is nicely and well equipped. The huge garden is really great and offers a lot of different places to sit and relax, to eat and drink, to read, to enjoy view or to swim etc. The kind owner couple supported us with maps, hints where and how to go and what to see and last but not lease with a filled fridge, fruits and wine to get started very well. What ever you wish to do or where to go for sightseeing, nothing is very far, but you will need a car.

We stayed in this villa for 4 days over Christmas 2015 as a couple with our two girls. The unit is incorporated into a beautiful house set within a big tropical garden, with lots of corners and seating areas to enjoy the garden either alone with a book or with friends for lunches and dinners. The lovely owners met us and took their time to show us around the unit and the garden. The unit is very tastefully furnished with again more seating areas, inside and out. The unit is very well equipped and even the fridge was well stocked with fruit, butter, milk, cheeses, a bottle of wine and more. There are two bedrooms with four single beds, the only downside as it would have been great to have a double bed for the parents. The property lies within banana plantations, so very quiet, but equally very close to Socorro beach, and by car only 5 - 10 minutes to the major shopping centre of Puerto de la Cruz. The best part of the north coast is easily accessible and we also spent one day at the Siam Water Park on the south coast, which is only an hour's drive away. We enjoyed our stay a lot and look forward to returning!

We were met by Isabel and Antonio, who were absolutely amazing. The welcome pack was beyond belief thank you. The garden must be seen to be believed. One doesn't need to leave the property if it is peace and quiet you are after. Then look no further. The finca was very clean and well equipped and the new kitchen magnificent. After a warm welcome by the owners, they showed us the rooms and the garden. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The description regarding the location, facilities and the layout is accurate. We would recommend the villa.

nested in the lovely cotage anglais style apartments of the wonderful villa, in the middle of an enchanting parc of exotique plants, a perfect hideaway place ! the memory of it calls us back ! we loved the 30 min away the town of Orotova on the way of mars like ladscape or the caldera of the Teide volcano!

Als wir 2013 für eine Woche hier waren, haben wir sofort für 2014 wieder gebucht. Diesmal für drei Wochen, und wir haben wieder jede Sekunde genossen! Ein Traumurlaub. Wir haben alles genauso liebevoll gepflegt vorgefunden wie im letzten Jahr - nähere Details und genauere Infos s.u., Rezension vom 17.10.2013 - und haben uns über die Modernisierung im Badezimmer gefreut: es gibt jetzt statt Badewanne dort eine geräumige Dusche. Unsere Gastgeberfamilie war wie im letzten Jahr sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen und unseren nächsten Aufenthalt hier in 2015!

Everything was absolutly perfect. A big thank you to the very sympathetic owners that they let people stay at there perfect finca. The garden is a dream and we could miss with a clear conscience on the visit of the botanic garden :-) The property was very clean and everything was working well. We also very estimate the welcome fruits, bread, water, wine etc. and there tips they gave us. Who ever has the chance to book it - do it, there is no more peaceful place to be and also with children it is a perfect place to be with all this different places you can stay - Tina from Switzerland

The pictures only show half of what's there and it is difficult to find superlatives to describe the grounds. Think 10,000 square metres or two and a half acres of stunning botanical gardens and this is all to yourself. Ocean views from the cliffs to peace and serenity by the pool. My wife and I stayed and the apartment was comfortable and catering, whilst the kitchen is a bit limited was ok. We needed to use it due to having to self cater because of special diets but if you want to eat out there is plenty of choice. The owners were kindness itself and went out of their way to make us welcome. We were left food in plenty to tide us over the first few days and this coupled with the ability to pick fresh oranges, grapefruit, papaya and avocado form the gardens was a delight. The property is tranquil and rural but within a 5 to 10 minute drive of everything you could need. One of the most breath-taking places we have stayed, highly recommended.
