Our second wonderful stay at Tholt-y-Will B&B. Mick and Nicky are great hosts who make you feel extremely welcome and very well looked after without intruding on your privacy. Beautiful room with everything we could want and fantastic location.

First, a quick note about our host, Mick - a warmer, more welcoming human being you could not wish to meet. He is quick to smile and easy in conversation, though never in the slightest bit invasive - one of those people that you meet and get the feeling that you've known for years.
The room was luxurious - bright, spotlessly clean and very large, with doors leading out onto the private terrace, where we spent most of our time while on site. The view is lovely and a stream trickles past a few feet in front, fed by a waterfall to the right and joining the river to the left. This creates the most lovely of sounds, gentle white noise from the fall, gentle white noise when joining the river and a light burble as it passes by the terrace. The sound gives a wonderful texture to the darkness when sitting out at midnight enjoying a G&T.
Breakfast is both plentiful and of the highest quality, with charcuterie, cheeses and other dairy sourced locally. I have a large appetite and was more than sated by the spread each morning.
All the photos I've posted are either of the property, its grounds or within a 30 minute walk of the property
We didn't like having to leave. Not one bit!
That said, we have already pencilled-in a couple of long weekends for next year for more rest and relaxation.

It was gorgeous with lots of extra details. The hosts were very attentive before we arrived and accommodated our request for an early breakfast. The food was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and available as and when wanted but in a very professional and low key way which was perfect.

Such a fantastic place to stay the bedroom and the bathroom were to a very high standard the setting the grounds just such a nice place to stay Mick and Nicky were brilliant hosts we had lovely breakfasts and the stay was so relaxing I can highly recommend a holiday here

Very welcoming and accommodating host. Excellent breakfast and provided good alternative for gluten free without any issues. Lovely location with good walks from the doorstep. Very quiet and peaceful, which was just what we wanted.

Location was very scenic and peaceful the added bonus of the balcony looking out over the glen was fantastic, right in the middle an ideal base to travel and explore the island. Hosts very welcoming and informative, the room was perfect. Breakfast is continental all sourced locally and really tasty, we needed gluten free and host provided this with no issue. When we return to the island we will definitely be staying here again.
There was nothing at all that we didn’t like, no complaints.

My wife and I had 2 nights here in May 2023 as a little staycation weekend. An outstanding location and excellent time to visit as the Glen is in full bloom. Mick was an excellent host, very friendly and made us feel like we were part of the family. The room was of the highest standard and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommend!
There is nothing to fault here, everything was outstanding. 1 thing to note is that if you like an afternoon or midnight snack, the closest shop is about 15 mins away by car, so just bring something along if you are so inclined. There is plenty of space in the rooms and a decent sized fridge for anything cold.

The Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and very clean. The sound of the birds in the morning was very relaxing. We left there feeling refreshed and excited to plan our next stay with them.
Not much I didn’t like. But next time I will bring more food supplies as there isn’t any shops close by.

What a place! Stunning rural location. Rooms and lounge area are spacious and stylish with high end decor and fittings. Lots of walks in the beautiful countryside right from the property. It was a pleasure to meet the hosts who we enjoyed chatting to and had all the time in the world for us. Breakfast was perfect. Thanks for looking after us guys and we hope to return again another time - perhaps for a long stay time?

The property felt remote with beautiful surroundings but a short drive to both Douglas and Ramsey. great views in every direction and we loved the cabin in the woods with a modern twist aesthetic. Mick & his wife went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and almost convinced us to stay another night (definitely would of done if we didn’t have work the following day) will be booking again soon at the next available opportunity.

It is very peaceful here & if you’re there at the right time, you have the pleasure of being able to watch the lambs run around in the field just outside the window. The hosts were friendly, chatty and polite & the breakfast was amazing!
There is nothing that we didn’t like. The only thing to mention for people who like to know these things is that there was no door on the toilet in the bedroom. It is tucked away behind a wall but it isn’t the most private. It would not bother most people but it would be something that I would like to know when booking.
