This place is down a steep dirt road, spoty internet, nowhere close to buy anything; you need either a 4x4 or a motorcycle....I cancelled the booking on site after realizing that if it rained I would be stranded and most likely miss my plane....no way to call q taxi....very expensive to call one

Die Aussicht und die Bucht direkt davor sind der Hammer! Die Betten sind super, z.T. inkl. Blick zum Meer und die Zimmer und gesamte Anlage sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist besonders nett und hilfreich.

Es gibt wenig Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, sodass man hauptsächlich auf das Restaurant vor Ort angewiesen ist. Man kommt etwas schwer hin und wieder weg. Leider gibt es kein warmes Wasser in den Duschen.

My stay at Lagarza was amazing! the location is beautiful and the dorms are very good. the beds are big and the room has AC. I lost my passport during my stay and the staff was extremely helpful with everything I needed, thanks again!

The food is good but you're kind of relying on it since there is not a lot in the area.

The bathroom linked to my room smelled really bad. The wifi was also spotty in the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the food was yummy!

There was a power outage due to heavy storms but the staff kept reaching out to the power company to restore it. Fortunately, we weren’t without power for that long.

Absolutely stunning setting. A beautiful infinity pool overlooks a private beach. Just spectacular!

Love the location, very nice and peaceful, very clean and food is excellent.

The only thing is the road to the location is very bad. It is best to drive with a 4x4 suv or truck.

Easy arrival from the airport, great views, a clean beach (and even cleaner pool), delicious food, friendly and attentive/responsive staff, and a comfy bed..... I definitely hope to return someday.

The location is far from where the fun is. So after 1 day - out of the 2- I felt a bit stuck. The gorgious infinity pool is insta worthy but if thats all there is its losing its magic a bit. great location of you want to have some quality me-time..:-).

The location is very remote but beautiful! If you’re looking to disconnect from the world, please visit this place. The drinks were delicious and the staff was very helpful and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Very quiet and relaxing at night. I really loved the pool.

The food was not my favorite. Wish I had time to try more of their options my opinion would probably change.

The food was delicious, hostel beds were large and comfortable and some with a view! The pool and beach are lovely places to relax.

The location is quite remote, so be prepared to stay in one place. I didn't have much success asking for help with excursions. The place really shut down by 10pm.

The infinity pool combined with a nice sea view will make your mind and body feel relaxed. Food was really great as well. Staff is friendly and very professional; they all seem to be well trained to deal with all types of customers. After staying here, I understand why this place has one of the best ratings.

If I have to say one bad thing would be not about the property but the beach. It looks beautiful but water is not calm at all, specially in the afternoon. So just be careful.

This hostel has the nicest views ever, even from your room when you wake up! It’s a 30 second walk to Shalpa beach, which is a volcanic black sand beach that is stunning. The staff at the hostel are the absolute sweetest. It’s also very easy to get to the other popular beaches from the property via the public buses. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to truly relax in paradise.

feels like a 5 star hotel. the view is spectacular, the pool really nice and the beach is completely empty. Best beds in the dorm, they are huge and super comfy. had a really nice and relaxing time in Lagarza. Gracias.

The road to get there is very muddy, no pavement. We had an economy car and almost couldn't get in. The description in booking or the hotel should be more specific. More storage. There isnt much space to put luggage
