We enjoyed staying at the property, but there were some things that took us by surprise. We needed to walk through our hosts garage to reach our unit. Sometimes we needed to skirt around his car. The description was not correct in terms for bedroom number three. In the description, it says the bedroom number three contains one queen bed, and a sofa bed. That is not the case. Bedroom number three contains only the queen bed. The sofa bed is located in the family room. This was unfortunate, as it required that all adults stay out of the family room until everyone was awake. The mattress of the sofa bed was deteriorating, and in need of repair, the kitchen could have been stocked with more cooking pots, and there were some areas of the unit (behind the master bed, for example) that really could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Finally, it is worth noting that the residents upstairs are very easy to hear. We heard conversations through the floor, and at least once even thought that their cell phone buzzing was our own buzzing cell phone. Running around and stomping above our heads were certainly things that we had to deal with throughout the day. That being said, it is a full 2 bath, 3 bedroom unit, well cared for and about 30 minutes from everything we wanted to see. The host was responsive to questions and replaced a broken can opener quickly. The neighborhood felt safe and we appreciated having access to laundry.

The host lived in the upper level of this house. The hosts children were running around making noise at night until I knocked on their door asking them to stop making so much noise. Bedrooms were adequate but living area and kitchen would not accommodate more than 4 adults. Parking was scarce and on the street. I would not recommend this property.

We have been staying at VROBs coast to coast for 10 years and this is one of our favorites. It was the best location for our plans in the city as well north and south of the city. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and appreciated the upgrades and cleanliness of the home. Parking was always available which is rare in SF.

This location met all our expectations. It was in a convenient location for the activities we had planned. It is located in a residential neighborhood which gave us a lot of options for walks with our dog, Tatum. It's a few minutes walk to the Pacific Ocean, and we walked along the ocean to Golden Gate Park. We visited the windmills and Queen Wilhelmina garden there. It was a short distance to the dog park at Sigmund Stern Recreation Grove, and the scenic North Lake Bridge. The property was clean and easy to access. The facilities at the property worked well. The master bedroom had its own bathroom, which my brother appreciated.

Great property. You have the entire downstairs area that’s separate from the owners. Bedrooms are big and 2 good bathrooms. 6 of us stayed there with our dog and had no issues. Owner is very friendly and responsive. Parking is on street but plenty of space available. We took Ubers to the city which were available in a few minutes. Would 100% stay there again.

There was some dust and the master bedroom rug had stains, but otherwise it was an enjoyable stay. Kids loved the hot tub and the water pressure and temp stayed hot for all 6 of us. Would recommend to all and stay again. Weren’t told as far as we know to not park out front from 12-2pm as we got a parking ticket on the one day we stayed at the house during that time.

This was a lovely stay in a quiet neighbourhood close to the ocean! Big rooms and comfy beds. Kitchen well outfitted for home meals. Our only note for others is that we were looking for a traditional hot tub, and this was more of a warm pool, which would be nice on a warm day, but not the same as a hot tub if that’s what you’re looking for!

We enjoyed our stay here during our vacation to San Francisco.

The property was clean and the owners were very nice, Respect in our privacy. Was a very good location nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the showers really nice overall. It was just excellent. Located close to the beach and the zoo as well as downtown.

This house was perfect for our family of seven for a two night stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay. Parking will be tight if more than one vehicle but luckily we just came in our van. Overall, don't mind coming back.

As someone who was born and raised in SF, I wanted to be near my former neighborhood. Great location away from the density and chaos of other neighborhoods. Super efficient check in, and hosts very responsive! Will definitely return.

Walking distance to the beach & restaurants. Hot tub needed water change/cleaning. Nice patio/backyard area for the dog!

Very easy check-in, plenty of street parking, nice backyard patio with table and chairs for 4, comfortable beds. Sky was very quick to respond to questions. The bathrooms are small but adequate. The living space is quite crowded with a full size sofa, dining table for 4 and kitchenette all in one room. There is a big screen TV in the living room. Another TV is in the master bedroom.

This is a small apartment, no oven or dishwasher, small livingroom. But a very nice and safe location, conveniently located and very nice owners. I would definitely recommend.

In the neighborhood we needed. Clean accommodations with comfortable beds and great showers! We even enjoyed the hot tub and a full day of tennis at sfsu

This was a perfect place for our family (2 adult couples and two children) to stay as we explored San Francisco. Check in/out was easy and the owner responded quickly. Highly recommend.

This is a basic, comfortable property--a good home base for exploring the more residential areas of SF. Walking distance to SF Zoo and Ocean Beach, and there's an independent supermarket just down the block.

This neighborhood has a lot of little hidden gems - restaurants, bars, coffee, etc. There is a Walgreens 2 blocks away which makes it easy to grab essentials you may have forgotten. At the same corner as Walgreens, there is also a bus stop, a bakery, and a liquor store. Having three bedrooms with queen beds was perfect for us as travelers, and the hot tub is an added bonus! We saw our hosts in passing once or twice while we were there for the week, and they were super friendly. But they very much respect the privacy of their guests. Check in/out was simple. We knew the place was threadbare from previous reviews - the towels and extra blankets are sparse. But we knew that and were ok trading that for the location and offerings of this property. Highly recommend this VRBO and this host!

This property is located in a neighborhood type setting with plenty of parking. The owners upstairs have little ones and we could hear them occasionally but it was not a bother at all. We walked to the Great Highway Beach, and there were several grocery markets nearby as well. Overall it was perfect for our needs (except we wished they had a toaster!). We would return.

We loved it. Great size for 3 adults and 2 kids or more. We loved walking to public transportation routes and seeing the ocean nearby. Neighbors were friendly and family upstairs were very quiet. The host was most resposive to our.concern that hot tub water hadn’t heated up and we couldn’t use it, We were able to the last morning, so I wanted to give a total of 4 &1/2 stars overall since we chose this partly on having hot tub.

It claims to host up to 8 people, and yes, you can sleep 8 people in the apartment, BUT be warned that if you have that many people, 2 of you will be sleeping in the kitchen/living room/tv space. There is absolutely not the space or amenities for more than 4 people to hang out comfortably in this apartment. We arrived to find the sleeper sofa smack dab in the middle of a very small "kitchen" - written in quotes because there is no oven and or even a toaster oven (no toaster either). We moved the sofa awkwardly to the corner, because it was very much in the way of opening up cabinets and getting to the sink. Speaking of cabinets, there were 4 mugs, 2 water glasses, 8 plates and no bowls. No dishtowel, either. The beds each had one fitted sheet and a comforter, the only other blanket provided was one twin-sized quilt in one of the rooms. There was exactly 1 towel for each person, and half as many wash clothes. The walls are incredibly thin, we could hear each other even with doors closed. Not to mention the owners live in the apartment above and we were awoken daily by running feet, loud vibrating phones, and at one point a loud repeated banging. There is no way to control the heating in the apartment (perhaps there is only one thermostat upstairs?), and it was incredibly hot every night while sleeping. There is indeed a hot tub, but the water was 80 degrees when we first arrived and took at least 24 hours to reach 104 (the usual comfortable temperature for a hot tub). Luckily we were not there for a short stay or we would not have been able to make use of the hot tub. The apartment was generally clean, but there was a large sticky wet spot on the rug in one of the bedrooms that we stepped on multiple times before covering with one of the precious wash clothes. There were also ants, but this is pretty common in San Francisco apartments. The location is in the outer Sunset District and is a 15 minute walk to Ocean Beach, which is perhaps the only perk of this listing. There is a grocery store and a Walgreens quite close too. I do appreciate the quite communication from the host, but I cannot recommend this listing for large groups, and would honestly not even recommend for small groups or families as the kitchen is very poorly stocked for even simple things like making toast or coffee for more than 2 people.

We loved stay in Sky's house. This adorable 3-bedroom 2-bath house is perfect for our family. It's conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. It's also 5-min drive from the SF zoo. Besides the wonderful property, the hosts are also kind, welcoming, and very pleasant to talk to, made us feel like home :-) Highly recommended!

We would definitely recommend this property to others. It is a nice place with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Big screen TV, nice kitchen area (minus a stove) and use of washer and dryer, and hot tub. The kitchen and sofa and tv area was a bit crowded but manageable. There was some disturbing noise in the mornings from children in the upper section, but it wasn’t a too bad it didn’t last too long.
