Comfortable and spacious room. The dinner was excellent and breakfast was hot and freshly prepared. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We booked a specific table in a quiet area for dinner but the Manager hadn’t reserved it for us on the system which was disappointing as the table wasn’t available for us when we went to dine.

The food in the pub is outstanding. I hadn't looked at the menu before I arrived but it left me wishing I was there for a week rather than just one night because there was so many things on there I wanted to try. Portions were enormous and it was really tasty, and excellent value.

It is one of the finest Pub we tried around. Great food, great environment and absolutely stunning room and bed!

Unfortuanatly i am a very light sleeper and our room was at the front of the building , warm evening so had window open and could hear the traffic into the night . So if we came back i would ask for a room towards the rear

Staff were efficient and friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were tasty and reasonably priced Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water in the shower

The room was very nice, although small, and the bathroom was lovely. Everything was clean. The staff were great - we arrived late after a wedding and someone was there to let us in at 11.15pm. The breakfast was good. We were basically only there to sleep but would come back for a longer stay!

Really lovely pub. Our rooms were gorgeous, so nicely decorated, lovely and clean, very comfortable beds, etc. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning. We would definitely come again, would highly recommend.

Good local produce for breakfast served on a hot plate. Top marks for that! A little more choice such as some fruit as well cereal would have been nice but good overall. Perfect location for visiting family in Aylsham.

We were in a nice room over the bar but there was a machine or something to do with the heating that made quite a lot of noise. It stopped in the main at night but did start up for a short time in the middle of the night. OK for 1 night but any more and I would have asked if we could change rooms.
