Beautiful view, on a very nice property with tons of potential. Nice little pool. Host is very nice and Chris, one of the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not much water pressure for a hot shower.

we had paid for breakfast but on arrival were told they didn’t provide breakfasts at all. would have been good to at least leave a bottle of water or tea/ coffee. we were only staying one night so had not bought any food .and no shop nearby.there was building work in part of the property

Communication was not great. Hard to get in touch with host. Property is under construction being converted in to rental. Didn't feel the balcony door were secure and there was a metal trim we kept tripping over.

Fantastic host, thank you Chris for all your help and going above and beyond. The room is super cute with seaviews. There is a bus down the road which is well connected and it also means you can enjoy the quietness of the area. The 12b goes near the airport and the 10 goes to downtown.

There are some works being conducted in the house so it looks a bit messy. There is no tea or coffee in the room.

The property view is marvelous. Rent a small car to get around beautiful beach minutes walk and nice restaurant couple min walk

My stay at Viking Hill Pool Cottage was (Okay) I had higher expectations from the photos then what I actually saw when I arrived. The shuttle coordinated by Viking Hill picked me up from the airport on time. The pool was very nice, I had to use the net scooper to clean it myself but otherwise it was always the right temperature. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot/warm. Since the property is private we lounged in the pool until we got tired. Also there is a grill out by the pool but you’ll have to buy everything yourself (charcoal, lighter fluid, lighter, aluminum foil, etc…) the property is somewhat tucked away so it is peaceful and not a lot of tourist as long as there’s no construction going on.

Upon my arrival the facilities were under construction and seem to be still recovering from a hurricane. Which I understand, but this should have been notated so guests are aware. My water was off for a short period without any warning because they were doing construction on the area right outside of my room. Which happened the majority of my stay (so only one day was quiet and calm, the rest were hammers, drills and the yelling and talking of a working crew). The WiFi was spotty, or non existent. Towels were limited to 3 per room. Out of the three we were given 2 were dirty. The pillow cases were dirty and bed had crumbs/sand in it. I had to tie a long head scarf that I brought with me around my pillow in order to feel somewhat comfortable sleeping on it, which makes me think that the room was not adequately cleaned. There was a miscommunication between the owner and the assigned shuttle driver. He would act as if he was doing us favor by taking us somewhere and we paid him directly in cash, only to be charged for that same transportation when I got my final bill. Considering that personal properties and Airbnb’s are charging almost the same as hotels these days just stay at a resort. We frequented the SLS Baha Mar for restaurants and to hang out in their facilities. If you don’t mind loud construction everyday when you I wake up, dirty linen, and you don’t mind being off the grid without WiFi then this is the place for you.

Kind of far from main attractions but that’s not a big deal
