The location was spot on and within walking distance to everything. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy and it was a bonus having washing facilities in our room.

When arriving room was excellent clean and amazing , the view was just WOW breathtaking , and the bed was so comfortable and the pillows omg so fantastic we even took a screen shot of the brand to try and find if we could purchase them lol 😁😁

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Across the road from the beach and easy access to public transport. Always love our stays at Meriton hotels, but this one was one of the better ones. Loved the fact that they have an indoor plus outdoor pool and an in house restaurant.

I loved the view of the ocean very much. I loved the modern and luxurious looking aesthetic both inside the room, inside the building and the outside of the building. I loved the fact that the place contained a living room, a bedroom and a fully operational kitchen as well as a bathtub in the bathroom. I loved the indoor and outdoor spa and pool. The indoor spa and pool was free for guests and I appreciate that. It also overlooked the ocean. The restaurants within the building had good food, beautiful aesthetics and descent prices, specially the Italian restaurant. The room service was very fast and prompt. We asked for more toilet paper and it was immediately offered. We asked for more coffee and sugar and it was immediately offered. We asked for someone to fix the air-conditioning and someone showed up in less than 5 minutes. We liked that there was two TVs, one in bedroom and one in the living room, with StayCast.

Now, as for the downsides: at the price that we paid, we expected to have a better air conditioner. My boyfriend hates hot weather and he was not so comfortable with the atmosphere in our room 1709. We kept a key card in the slot at the entrance to activate the air-conditioning. We set the air conditioner on Cooling and at 16 degrees to make the room cool down faster. But the room never went lower that 25 degrees. On top of that, only one window would open to get fresh air. So the atmosphere in the room was sub par. Another fact that was a bit annoying, was that there was no breakfast included. We paid a lot and that should have been enough to include breakfast and offer room service for it. The last thing is that the pillows were all high profile, with no option of a low profile pillows. The internet was very slow too. When we tried casting our favourite show on TV, it buffered a lot due to bad internet.

Manager wouldn't let me stay as I couldn't produce drivers licence matching a physical credit card. Nothing about these details in their booking confirmation, they just noted that they required "a drivers licence and credit card", which I had. I provided physical drivers licence of my daughter who was staying, my physical credit card, a photo of my drivers licence, and full payment with a bond or pre-authorisation of whatever they needed and they STILL rejected me and my daughter from their property at 6.30pm on a Saturday night. No apologies at any time just rude and arrogant staff. Never again.

Location was good & easy to walk to Cavill st. Apartment was just gorgeous with a stunning view of the ocean.

Outdoor pool was closed & the indoor pool had an incredible amount of chlorine in in - very busy.

Very convenient location, restaurants were lovely and breakfast was convenient. The pools and sauna are absolutely gorgeous and we spent so much time in them. The sauna was my favorite thing ever and it was perfect temperature always.

You only get one roll of toilet paper in your room and you have to ask for extra, which staff happily hand over but it would be a lot more convenient if there were two rolls in the bathrooms just in case!

This is my fourth time staying at the Meriton at Surfers Paradise. It is always so clean and luxurious. The staff are lovely and we love the location! Close to the beach, close to the restaurants and activities, but also that little bit further away where it feels quiet and secluded. We also really appreciated the extra touch that was added to our hotel room as it was our honeymoon.

The indoor pool was a tad chilly! Would love if it was heated, especially in winter.

Tap fittings were very loose, tap would almost fall over if touch un bathroom, hubby tightened it best he could without tools.

location was perfect, loved using the tram service. Staff were cooperative at all times. Facilities were clean and after hours service was appropriate, enjoyed our stay.

Having to ask to have extra towels and extra breakfast items (tea bags, milk, etc). Housekeeping should be offered everyday and included in the price when booking your stay, especially it you stay 5 nights or more.

The room was amazing! The pools were massive and beautiful. Awesome location, perfect sunsets.

Staff were Low key rude, judgemental and made me and my partner feel unease. SPAS were warm/close to cold at times. Very disappointed wishing they were hotter as a spa should be.
