Quirky but comfortable

Lovely property with added bonus of having parking! Plenty of space and nice quiet location

Could have done with a mirror in the spare room and some more bins (only one in the kitchen). Also no dishcloth/tea towels which was odd

Allocated parking

The house is filthy and totally rundown. Kitchen: dirty, sticky, stained utensils and crockery, the dishwasher was still full from previous stays. No sponge, dishwasher tablets or kitchen towels provided. We could not use the kitchen at all. Internet: very poor, never working, pointless. Bathroom: filthy toilets, never cleaned at all and covered in urine. The main bathroom shower is broken and stuck on boiling water. The towels are worn out and good for the bin, all areas dirty. Beds: uncomfortable, disgusting and stained bedding, smelly pillows. Furnitures: awful, uncomfortable, the entire house is furnished out of an Oxfam showroom. General: the house is caked in dust and grime, cobwebs and dirt. The host was in total denial about the cleaning issues even blaming the plumber (who was trying to fix a leak when we arrive) for the disgusting states of the toilets.

Good location, in kemptown and close to the sea. Nice setting in cobbled Mews. Friendly neighbours

In need of a deep clean. No outside space

The Mews house is perfectly located for exploring Brighton and all the area has to offer, with the added bonus of off road parking. The house is beautifully maintained with everything you would need. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Emma x

The location was excellent and there was parking for 2 vehicles, which was also excellent. The property was comfortable and airy when the weather was very warm.

We had a small issue, which was partially resolved. I grew up in Brighton, but not close to the coast, so I had forgotten how noisy the seagulls can be; they were better than an alarm clock when they were having a get-together at 5 or 6am!
