The location was amazing. The beach was right by the hotel. We got to swim with turtles & also watch the sunset while sitting in our balcony. They cleaned our room perfectly every day & had arranged little elephants out of towels & left them on our beds with flowers!

The waiter at the breakfast buffet on the public holiday was quite rude. Everyone else was friendly and helpful though.

В последние сутки пребывания не было уборки номера, замены полотенец и не дали воды (free). Удивительно!!!

It was our second time at the hotel. It is very comfortable and clean. Staff is trying their best to accommodate their guests and they are really polite and professional. Location is perfect and the best part of Hikkaduwa beach is right in front of the hotel. Value for money exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back to this place again.

Some parts of the pool could be shaded, when it's very sunny you could get sunburned fast, especially the kids pool. It would be nice if the hotel had a kids club. Spa or at least a massage area would be beneficial.

The location of the hotel and the beach with turtles are the biggest advantage of this hotel. The breakfasts there were also very tasty.

defects: - the hotel needs renovation, the rooms are not of the best quality for the price you have to pay. AC not the best quality, very loud. TV also not working properly - the hotel is full of loud crows that can be heard every night! it's very annoying. we spent only two nights in the hotel, but if you are looking for hotel for a longer time, I advise you to choose another place.

The Breakfast was exceptional. I am a strict vegetarian and there were many vegetarian options.

The Room was good but only issue is that the Smoke Detector is installed just above the bed where you have the pillow so the blinking light from that detector was disturbing. The Beach was all Rocky so not very enjoyable. Anyway I don't want to be negative here because it was off season and the sea was very rough so maybe in good seasons the sea is calm and beach would be enjoyable

Was pretty busy and so they missed the ball on a few points (had to check in late as room not ready, prepared a packed breakfast for us but not for everyone etc)

Too many chipmunks jumping on and around you whilst trying to relax in the sun.

What an incredible stay! The property exceeded our expectations as a final rest stop for us before flying home. The room was very comfortable, the food was unbelievable. The buffet, wow! We would highly recommend staying, particularly as a family. Our one year old spent his days in and out of the pool and was so happy, the staff also went above and beyond to make sure he was happy.

Staff was really friendly with us and our little one, F&B team was all the time making sure we were happy and making our stay unique. The property has an amazing location. There is security team in each floor and each corner, this makes the place secure. We initially booked for 2 nights, but since we did really enjoy we extended the stay one more night.

The food was amazing. Enjoyed our Ocean view from the fourth floor of our room. The staff members were very friendly and helpful and nice enough to help my wife and me with our toddler.

Old property and low maintenance. My room was unsafe as part of the roof fallen off while we were at the balcony, thereafter maintenance staff spend at least one hour clearing off the debris and they used the room door the take them out making real discomfort and inconvenience to us. Hotel didn’t have water in the bathrooms on one particular day during out stay. This water cut lasted several hours. This was really a bad experience. We were given room that was always wet inside due to an issue in the humidifier, finally they had to change the 2 rooms.

the food was amazing - a very good variety and quality of food at both breakfast and dinner.

the amount of crows at the pool and sun bed area. it was a lot and they were persistent.

We didn’t stay at this hotel as the rooms are very dirty and very old not safe for children at all we refused to say we found a different hotel.

There is nothing to like about this hotel

The staff are friendly and very customer-focused, we were impressed on how the manager (Sudath) resolved the problem we had with the room. Buffet had a lot of selection and the New Year’s Buffet was simply stunning. Noteworthy as well is that the guards were not just doing their job, but going the extra mile. For example, when me and my friend went to the beach at night on New Years’s Eve, one of the guards signalled to us with the light letting us know that he’s keeping an eye on us, which made us feel very safe.

Unfortunately, not all rooms have the same quality standard due to the size of the hotel and the first room we got (number 226 on the second floor) had a terrible humidity issue (to the point where one of the travel party actually got sick because of it). In addition, the ventilator in the bathroom was so loud that it was impossible to sleep even with earplugs. The dehumidifier (that shouldn’t be turned off) was also really loud. The sink in the bathroom was leaking and when you’d turn on the tap, a puddle would start forming on the ground. On a separate note, not only there were no USBs by all beds, but also no sockets. The phone also didn’t work. We were assured that the hotel is gradually renovating the rooms, but the reality today is that there are still rooms like that. Worth mentioning as well that there seems to be some break in communication between the office / front desk staff and people on the ground servicing the rooms. Although we booked a tripple room and additionally communicated about it in writing, when we arrived, the toiletries, towels and sheets were there only for two people and we had to ask several times for it to get done. These are minor details, but they do matter
