gorgeous little lodge, absolutely loved it thank you! we’ll definitely be staying again

Lovely place to stay, very clean and has a homely feel. All details for checking in were sent so quickly after booking. Great Wi-Fi and parking space too.

The lodge was very cute and cosy. We had no disturbance, tesco and other retail shops were a 5 minute drive. Tea and coffee provided for us. The box of chocolates were such a lovely thing to do to welcome us. It was so quiet at night, we really loved it.

The room was cosy, warm, exceptionally clean, smelt lovely. Tea and coffee facilities bathroom with shower, great location. Good value for money

No microwave

The Lodge offers an unusual and "petite" accommodation in a quiet wooded corner of Little Clacton with space to park your car off-road. Julie and Alistair are lovely hosts.

Nothing. It was all good but small!

Breakfast wasn't an option, however there was a fridge with milk for tea and coffee.

I'm splitting hairs here but I'd have liked a sheet as I got too hot with the duvet... but I think most people would be totally comfortable without this. When I stay again I will just bring a blanket.

The owners were delightful,very helpful and friendly.We were secluded and far from the crowds of Clacton-on-Sea.

price, location, clean and decorative, comfortable bed. Excellent tea/ coffee making area. very pretty location / outside area with a couple of seats.

My husband could not stand up fully in the lodge due to low ceiling, he’s 6” 3”” not exceptionally tall. This didn’t bother him too much but maybe worth mentioning in the description. we enjoyed our stay

The lodge was so cute and comfortable. It was in easy access to town centre and roads to other areas in Tendring.

I was using the lodge as a solo female and found it hard to settle on the first night as no interior lock, this made me feel a little vulnerable.

The owners were really friendly and accommodating to our needs. The lodge was really comfortable and cosy, we felt safe and at home the whole time being there. The lodge is a really nice place to stay if you want a few nights away and you want to relax. The location is really good and away from the busy town, it’s only a 8 minute drive into the town centre. There is also plenty of supermarkets around that’s roughly the same drive. You will be able to walk them too but it is through some country lanes. Inside the lodge is also a mini fridge which you won’t get in some hotels, it’s good if you are staying for a few nights and want some snacks. There is also fresh milk, water, tea, coffee and biscuits provided for you. I can’t thank Julie enough for being very welcome. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

it is immaculate, value for money and exceptionally clean. Great self check in process and perfect stop over. Felt very safe and comfortable as a single female guest. I highly recommend this and will be back. Look forward to a summer visit to be able to explore the area a bit. Thank you to the hosts.

Absolutely everything and the added extra little special touches!!!! I now can’t wait to finish work when I’m down and get to the lodge!!!
