The location was perfect and we loved the beach vibe.the staff takes very good care of us.the restaurant served a very good food and we found others restaurant nice close if you need to change.

Weather was no great,was a end of season raining.but we enjoyed it as well with music and dancing at bar.

Staff were friendly

The AC doesnt work properly, room very hot in day time. Breakfast wasn't fresh has just a few option

the property was very well kept and nice. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, despite lacking storage space. the common areas were also very well kept and clean.

it was located in the middle of nowhere, so in case you wanted to move from there or visit anything, you had to request a car. the staff was very nice at first, but as I was travelling solo as a single white woman, I was targeted by one staff member who propositioned incessantly to me, even knocking at my door during the night. I reported this to management, but nothing was done from my understanding. on top of this, from my personal experience, the tour offered by the property were extremely expensive and very low quality: my Stone Town tour was supposed to be 4 hours, but it was 1 h 45 mins, with no explanations or details provided by the guide. I had to insist to get my money back from the property. on top of this, extremely limited food offer at the restaurant.

The staff were very welcoming. It feels like home You have to get massage from Judith, she is superb. The reception are very much accommodating to all needs and so friendly.

Kind and helpful staff. They helped to organise the transfer from the Airport. Also helped to organise the car rental for us. Room was cleaned every day. Towels and bed linen were changed frequently. The room had air conditioning. The beach pool was nice and pleasant. Sunbeds are provided. It has direct beach access. The beach itself is nice. There are three local beach restaurants in walking distance with slightly cheaper prices than in the hotel. Nice and well maintained garden with palm trees and flowers. The room had a small terrace with a table and bench.

The room had lack of storage space, only one shelf was provided. We had no water in the room from time to time, it took several days to repair it. The breakfast was a bit boring, eggs in different versions and/or pancake almost every day, however, it was fresh every day. The restaurant prices are slightly high, due to the circumstances that no local shops are nearby (e.g. a bottle of 1.5L drinking water is sold for 1.5 USD, while in a local shop it could be bought for 0.5 USD or so). The restaurant area is covered but an open space, it can be windy, but was not very disturbing.

Slept on a creaky bed with a worn out mattress...it was not dealt with despite early reporting...it was unpleasant having to request for toiletries and towels.. Rooms had poor ventilation... can't depend on AC 100%.. Staff was generally aloof..Ame was a bright spot, serving humbly... Smoking was okay in public areas like the restaurant notwithstanding presence of non smokers and objection, no policy in place.. Resort only in its name, misleading identity, not thinking of going back..

not clean, staff is not helpful - they tend to overcharge for little things and keep changing the prices! the tour excursions provided by the hotel are also very shady! they overcharged us for a place we never ended up going to and refused to reimburse us

What I enjoyed about the resort : - The resort is located directly on the beach with rustling Palm tress and the ocean almost lapping your toes. - I had a sea view room which was perfectly quiet with a huge confirmable bed, walk in shower with perfect pressure and always hot. - The faculties are great for a resizing holiday, two lovely pools both very warm and loungers, day beds and hammocks all around the resort so you can find your perfect spot however you feel. - The breakfasts are lovely, delicious eggs and fruit and feels very seasonal as each days the options are slightly different. wonderful coffee and fruit drinks - finally what I enjoyed most at resort was Samson and his exceptional team. I stayed for 3 weeks and the service from everyone was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble or in anyway stressful, whether organising a taxi an excursion or even getting a replacement phone charger ( which they organised for me with zero stress and was immediate) Everyone was from the bar and restaurant waiting team to the housekeeping was truly exceptional. They look after their guests from the moment they awake to the moment they fall blissfully asleep. A simply perfect resort on the most beautiful island with the most exceptional team looking after you.

We liked our stay a lot. We haf an excellent view of the sunrise with palmtrees over the Indian ocean. Stay very friendly. Very nice vegetarian samosas. Some people had stomach problems when they stayed there. In Kenya we didn’t have that problem. They couldn’t inform about the tours they are selling. We liked to stay there.

The room was good. Shower was great.

No wifi a part from the restaurant, not even mobile signal in some areas. Very basic breakfast, the worst of all my trip in Zanzibar. They were making some noisy reforms at 21 PM every day. Extra taxes that didn't appear in the booking ad. I would definitely try to stay somewhere else.

I liked this hotel, and it is a great value for money. Clean and comfy rooms, nice hot showers and a great balkony. Breakfast is really great and changes from day to day. Especially the chapattis with mushrooms and spinach is worth mentioning

People are allowed to block the sunbeds and "swings" with their towels all day. Really annoying! The restaurant itself is not very good. I would recommend going somewhere else to eat.
