We called it the Grandma house. It has it's interesting decor with plates and black and white pictures but you can tell it is well taken care of and remodeled in some areas. We went for a bday weekend and the location of this house is unreal. We arrived with clear instructions how to get in (amazing communication) and a huge horse and carriage stopped by to say hello. The upstairs full size beds are difficult when you have over 6 people staying there, but we made it work and again because of the location at a good price point you can overlook a couple things. The street parking for more than two cars is annoying but cost isn't anything crazy. Overall we were impressed with the house and Leavenworth is always beautiful anytime of year!

This was our second year staying in this home. We really like the location- it's super close to the main street, and an easy walk to a nearby playground. It's spacious, but old. The doors were creaky and the bathroom sink was a little wonky, but overall it was good for our purposes.

Great area downtown. Privacy not so much. Upstairs Bathroom a little challenging. Well stocked kitchen. Backdoor lock didn't work so only could leave/enter through front. Smart TV streaming options only. All in all a good stay not great.

We loved to be within walking distance of downtown Leavenworth.

This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway in Leavenworth. Immediately upon entering the house we felt at home. We arrived in late afternoon and found lamps on in the main part of the home, welcoming us. The 4 bedrooms were spaced out prefectly for privacy. We had plenty of towels, blankets, and most everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner. The location was amazing! We were able to walk to everything. The home is also dog friendly, and our furry pups also felt right at home. We would love to visit again in the summer months!

Great little place close to Downtown Leavenworth. Made for a great centralized spot to head out on our adventures then come back for a short walk into town for dinner. Dog friendly is a major plus.

Perfect for a group of friends or family. Great for pet owners too. Clean, cute and eclectic vibe. Walking distance to everything! Would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable, roomy and allowed for each of us to have our own space. Quick walk to downtown and to Leavenworth parks and we definitely will stay here again as the property management was also very friendly and helpful.

The Mgmt Company was great to work with. Highly recommend them. The house was perfect for our family. The little fenced yard was great for the puppy too. Large dining room table was great for game night. One bed had a box spring that was creaky when you rolled over. Due to the time of year we went we didn't need A/C there was a large unit in the dining room. Short walk to downtown and the trail system along the river.

This home is in the perfect location for enjoying the festive town of Leavenworth. Our family of six adults and one child and our two dogs had a very comfortable stay. The home is clean, everything works and family meals in the dining room are special. This is the second Easter we rented this home.

Family get together from three states…we loved the dining room with big table, we gathered around it to visit in the evening and ate lunches here during the day. The house is very close to downtown and many in group walked to and from town….parking seemed limited downtown…so the location of house was an added bonus. The house is on a corner lot but it is in a quiet area…at least during our visit. We saw the horse drawn carriage leaving for town and retuning and on the morning of our departure 5 deer went by the house and walked down the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot in walking distance of town center (plus Starbucks!). Quaint older home with lots of nice touches (games, books, DVDs). One of our group members worked from here and Wi-Fi was great for video conferencing. Roku was a bit unreliable at times, but not a major issue. The upstairs shower had very little water pressure, but only 5 of us so we managed with sharing one shower. Would recommend using front door for primary access, back steps are a bit uneven. Overall a wonderful time - the location was great since we had one car and some were able to drive to skiing while others stayed and could walk to town.

My husband and I and our three kids spent a weekend in Leavenworth. He and I have been there a few times in the past, but it was the first time for the kids. Even though we booked well in advance, the hotel we normally stay at was booked. As a family, we have gotten used to renting homes so our Plan B was to see what VRBO had to offer. This house came up and fit the bill perfectly. In fact, we plan on staying here again should our travels bring us back. The house had so much character and was in a perfect location. Once we parked the car on Friday, we didn't drive again until we left Sunday. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and some really fun extras like games, DVD's, and a piano that our daughter thoroughly enjoyed playing. I think it's safe to say that the thing we enjoyed the most was the Christmas decorations, especially the Christmas tree!! We would definitely recommend this home and hope to visit again.

The Rockwell was very enjoyable, not just for the closeness to town, but the uniqueness of the older home. The wood wainscoting was exceptional in the dining room and the archway between the dining room and kitchen was beautiful. The extra room off the downstairs bedroom was well used. We would have loved to learn more about the history of the house--we're sure that the story would have been very interesting.
