My wife and I own a large wedding venue and frequently host guests so we KNOW what it means to have a quality space. This cottage is PERFECT. The owners thought of everything. My kids loved it because it was quaint. We sat on the front porch and watched birds and drank coffee every morning. Don't stay anywhere else. THIS is the place!

The cottage is so quaint and cozy with the cutest decor and plenty of pillows and blankets. They also provide robes and specific things about your trip like s’mores supplies and a Mother’s Day basket. This was such a pleasurable experience I highly recommend!!

This was our 3rd time staying here and we'll be back. It's now our go to spot when we're in Lafayette, which is our home away from home. Thanks for being great hosts and taking such great care of this sweet little house.

This home reminded me of a beach home. It was small but so roomy. I felt like I was truly on vacation. This home was right near the Cajundome which during Mardi Gras was the perfect location. We actually walked to the Cajundome to go to the fair. We had a lot of fun. Thank you so much.

Lovely stay

This was a quick trip to visit family in Lafayette. The cottage is incredibly well designed and stocked. Everything was very easy, comfortable and thoughtful. Loved that the owners made the access code the last four of my cell phone. Things like that are little but matter. Thanks!

It was super clean, comfortable and well equipped. The renting process was super easy, home owners live behind property, which was nice to know. When we arrived,the electric fireplace was burning and the lights were set to dim, a wonderful welcome after a long car trip. Having our pups allowed was wonderful. We don't travel with put them. The backyard had a beautiful fireplace. The uard was secure for ur fur babies and I didn't feel worried about them being outside. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. Felt relaxed the entire time. Highly recommend.

I stayed for two weeks and had a very nice time. The house is gorgeous and comes stocked with everything you need. The owners are very easy to get in touch with and they seem like very generous people. I was also working remotely during that time and had no issues. The home is located close to where all the action is. It is close to both the cajundome and downtown. Both are in walking distance. I may very well be back soon.

Check in was a breeze, great commutation and a very clean property.

We had a great stay. Awesome size for 4 adults, 2 small dogs. Great central location. Had to ask for help with the washer/dryer and got a very quick and helpful response. Would stay again!!

Great host! Property had a lot of privacy and the host was super welcoming. There were a ton of goodies and supplies there for me and my family to use.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely cottage for an entire week. We were using it as a home base to explore Cajun country, and it was wonderfully located for this. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it was great being able to pull up the driveway and park right next to the house. The house is vintage, and when it was totally renovated, the owners were just excellent in how they did the work. It is a lovely blend of the old character of the house, with the original wood floors sanded, old door frames carefully painted, the old glass door knobs, etc, and then the wonderfully modern kitchen, the very comfortable bed, and all the amenities. I'm sure there are those who look at the pictures and wonder about the size of the shower. It is plenty big, and works great. As we had really warm weather while we were there, we did not take advantage of the backyard and fire pit, but would at any other time of the year! If we come back this way, we would certainly look to stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place. Our adult son lives in Lafayette and we were in town to visit him for Mardi Gras along with our 7 year old daughter riding in the Children's parade with Krewe d' Amusement. The charming and updated home was perfect for making us feel right at home and it was so close to Cajun Dome where we had to park for the parade end and were even able to walk to Cajun Field for the festival. It was awesome! All aspects of the home were cozy and surprising. It had everything needed and more. Additionally, the guest sign in book had the most personable story about the home's origins and family history which made it that much more unique and precious. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend this home to others. Thanks for sharing this home and for your hospitality.

We visit Lafayette multiple times a year and were happy to find this property in our old neighborhood which is close to all the things to see in town. The house is as advertised: very clean, quiet neighborhood, great backyard. We have kids under five and were happy to find some toddler utensils and plates in the kitchen, which is also well-stocked for adults too. We already booked our next stay here!

This beautiful, cozy cottage is the perfectly setup for my out of town family. It is family friendly and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. All necessary amenities for our stay were included both inside and outdoors. The house is perfect to relax, recharge & enjoy!
