The house and location were perfect for our vacation.
Meredith and her husband were outstanding hosts, with the best response time I have ever encountered with VRBO. The house has every amenity you could ask for, I would have been happy not leaving the property for the whole time we stayed lol!

We were in FL for a close friend / brothers life celebration as we all are past bartenders and doormen from the Button on the Beach during the 80’s. We stayed at a beautiful home on Lake Melva, which unknown to us, it was right across the lake from where we lived during that time. Thanks again to our host…we will be back

It was a beautiful home, great amenities, and locationally fairly good. The downsides where the neighbor/neighborhood ducks, the regular functionality of the pool, and there was almost no toilet paper or trash bags on the premises. Despite those issues, it was great.

A typical Florida house on a small canal, beautifully landscaped with a pool, a 15 min. drive from the beach! The house was well stocked, with snacks, lots of coffee, oil, sugar. salt, etc. The owner went out of her way to help us have a comfortable stay, supplying 4 new beach chairs and turning up the temp in the spa to become a true hot tub, which we enjoyed in the cooler March evenings. My only other recommendation is to have a pack'n play available, as well as a high chair. Our only negative was that the dishwasher did not work despite expert troubleshooting, but will most likely be addressed in the near future (I would hope!). Thanks for a great stay!

This house was absolutely perfect for our getaway in February for 6 women. The house was clean and spacious, and the backyard with pool/spa were divine. We loved spending our mornings and evenings in our private backyard oasis, and we used the pool and spa every day. The host, Meredith, was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating from the moment that I booked. We also really appreciated how well-stocked the house was (coffee, beach towels/chairs, kitchen supplies, shampoo..). Location worked well for us as we didn’t mind a short drive to local spots. 10/10 would stay here again!

We stayed as two families (4 adults, 3 children) and we were all totally comfortable and felt like we had more than enough space. The outdoor pool/deck was truly magical and I felt like I was in my own tropical oasis! The house beds and linens were high quality and they had tons of extra amenities such as pool rafts, sunscreen, coffee, and spices. Huge shoutout to the owners who truly went above and beyond for excellent communication and helping with anything we needed.

Checkin process was clear and straightforward. House was clean when arrived and included towels, beach chairs, beach toys, fishing poles, etc. Small issues with the freezer and dishwasher were promptly handled by Meredith. There was plenty of space in the house for the 9 of us (6 adults and 3 kids). The reason for the 4 stars was the pool. The first two days of our stay it was cloudy and green, so no one swam. After the pool company showed up and added chemicals, the pool clear up in the afternoon of day 3. Throughout our stay we struggled to figure out using the water fall, heater, spa bubbles, etc

We enjoyed our stay in Ft Lauderdale. The back pool area was very relaxing and the king bed suite was like sleeping on a cloud. In-law suite was perfect for our college daughter w her girlfriend. Our teenage son and friend had other side of house to themselves was plenty of room with private space for everyone. Kitchen is fully stalked with all the essentials PLUS more!!

60 th birthday get away
We had a wonderful time at this oasis of a house
The house was fully stocked with amenities from snacks to coffee to shower items
The location couldn’t be better We were within 2 miles of the beach restaurants and kayaking guides
The grill was of professional quality and we were able to cook 6 big steaks and shrimp skewers at the same time for a “pool night” dinner with ease
The house easily held 7 adults without feeling cramped . What a great time !!!

A tropical paradise that's overwhelming
From the time we arrived till the time we left we were overwhelmed with the house, the location, and especially the owners. We didn't want to leave. Beautiful sunsets on the water and weather was awesome. Thanks for everything

Great place for a week away
We loved the house. It was centrally located and most everything was accessible within a 5 minute drive. There were also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The bedrooms and kitchen were beautiful and spacious.

Great Vacation
This property was amazing! The house was beautiful and the pool leading into the lake was gorgeous. The location is absolutely perfect , close to so many restaurants and shops and so close to Las Olas. We had an absolutely fabulous time and Meredith was so easy to work with . Highly recommend and would love to go back!!

Great Getaway
This property is a lovely house that fit 8 adults very comfortably. The pool and extra items such as a coffee station and fully stocked kitchen made it the stay that much better. The owner was reachable on both arriving and leaving the property making it very easy. We hope to come back to the property again soon.

Beautiful Home

Serene and beautiful lake house!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay! The home was very clean and had a ton of great amenities - pretty much anything you could need, and if there was anything that we lacked, Meredith was extremely responsive!
The property itself was what made our vacation unforgettable! The infinity pool was awesome and the lakefront serene! We saw turtles, birds and lots of other wildlife.
We brought our children and traveled with family and there was something for everyone! Very close to the beaches, restaurants and shopping. We hope to visit again some days, and would certainly recommend to others.

Wonderful getaway
We enjoyed our stay in Fort Lauderdale. The home was warm, inviting, and very clean. Everyone had their own space and the gourmet kitchen and poolside areas became our sanctuaries. A plumbing and pool issue came up and Meredith responded almost immediately and the issues were fixed. The home is located blocks from shopping and grocery, and we enjoyed the sunsets, iguanas and bird watching along the pond and streets. Would love to visit again!

Great location with magnificent views.
The experience staying at this property was great. We were a group of 60 plus year olds on a golf trip. The house was very nicely decorated and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Meredith was super responsive with communication. The views were magnificent. We would stay at this property again.

Meredith went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness with our experience at this property. The kitchen was stocked to the upmost attention and the entire house was incredibly clean. We felt very safe and loved our stay.

Birthday Getaway
We enjoyed our week of celebrating our daughters birthday. She brought a friend and we brought Grampy. Everyone loved the house, the location and all the adventures we had during our stay.

What a Find!
Such a beautiful home that provided our family with many new memories. We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with his siblings and spouses. The house was perfect with all the comforts of home. The backyard provided a lovely view with an awesome pool. Meredith was super easy to communicate with which made the planning so smooth. The first day there , I texted her to ask if there was a way to play music with a blue tooth speaker. The next morning at 7:30am there was a JBL speaker was at the door! We loved how there were snacks, coffee, and water at the house when we arrived. Can't get better hospitality than that! Lots of space to hang out whether in the living room, gorgeous kitchen, or poolside. So much thought went into making our stay perfect. Thank you for letting us use your home to celebrate! This is the perfect house and a super find!

House was amazing and location was perfect. We enjoyed the beach, fishing, and great night life. The house had everything we needed and more. There were snacks and even a bottle of liquor left behind for us! Thank you Meridith! We will definitely love to stay here again.

Paradise Found!
This property exceeded our expectations! It is like staying in your own private resort.
The house: We enjoyed the house both inside and out—breakfast by the pool and watching the sunset over the lake. The view from the back patio is stunning! The kitchen is fully equipped; we found everything we needed for making our Christmas dinner. All the rooms are clean and comfortable.
The location is close to shopping and restaurants. Trader Joe’s is walking distance. The beach and Las Olas are 10 minutes away.
The host: Meredith was very easy to communicate with. She answered all our requests and made sure we had everything we needed.
We would definitely stay here again!
