To say this place was perfect is an understatement. It was the most beautiful place we’ve stayed. Bahamas itself was an incredible island but staying at the Rum Club made it even better. The neighborhood was very quiet and the view was beautiful! The rooms were INCREDIBLE! But Ramona really made the stay wonderful, she added her special touch to the home every day and brought her beautiful smile and warm heart every morning and I just loved seeing her everyday. She’s a good soul. My husband, all the kids and my grand daughter all loved the pool, the salt water area and every part of the home. Thank you to everyone who takes care of this home and makes it available! We would love to come back!

We spent a week at The Rum Club with our children and extended family. The estate was perfect for the 9 of us. We truly enjoyed lazing around at the swimming pool and the sea pool and cooking dinners in the gourmet kitchen. The location was perfect for visiting Paradise Island, the casino, the marina and restaurants. We were also close to downtown where we visited the Pirate Museum, the Straw Market, Baha Bay Waterpark and more. Michael was a very helpful host and Ramona who came daily to tidy up the house was amazing! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful backdrop for our family vacation. We highly recommend The Rum Club!

This property lives up to the photos and then some. Everything about it, from the layout to the grounds to the outdoor shower and tile in the laundry room is immaculate. The owners are incredibly accommodating hospitable, as are the staff that come to the property daily. I know someone commented that the beach in front is not private--that is a plus in my view as the locals were also so warm and welcoming. The beach area is really wonderfully unique--the sea pool is protected and great if you have kids you want to contain, and outside the foundation there is a great snorkeling just outside your back door. It's also very calm as the bay is protected on the north side by Rose Island. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet but easy access to anywhere you want. Thank you Mike and Lisa!

This house has it all. Location, cleanliness, modern amenities, great layout. My group of 10 really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back.

The cleanliness and staff were outstanding. Ramona is excellent, and Mike is very kind and helpful. The fridge stocked with just enough to get by was a relief. The private chef made us feel like family. This was by far our favorite trip ever. After the recent loss of our son, we really needed this breath of fresh air. We will definitely be back.

This property was EXACTLY as pictured/advertised. The views of the ocean are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are all beautiful and spacious. The bathrooms are amazing. The kitchen is an absolute dream. Every little nook and cranny of the house is amazing, clean and beautiful. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and backyard. We loved sitting on the back deck having coffee/breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening. Mike was extremely accommodating with the check in/check out process, and very helpful with recommendations for activities. Ramona was such a gem and our children loved her. Omar was also amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the property and people associated with it. We will absolutely be back!

My family and I were looking for a relaxing stay in the Bahamas in luxurious surroundings but not necessarily at a resort with all the restaurant dining and crowds. This house was absolutely perfect! Me, my husband, and our 3 children ages 12, 14 and 16 just returned from a one week perfect stay at “The Rum Club.” The house was as pictured and big enough to really spread out, the grounds were immaculate and well cared for, the view was wonderful and the sea pool fantastic. Romona kept us in clean sheets and towels and Omar made sure the pool and outdoor areas were perfect at the start of every day. We also hired Chef Keshlah to help with our breakfasts and dinners while we were there so it truly was better than a resort. The sea pool is a major asset as it’s calm enough for smaller children even and a nice convenient place to launch the paddle boards that came with the house. It ended up raining 2 of the days we were there but we honestly didn’t mind. The house is filled with games, puzzles, and fun things to do, and with all that space we could really spread out. We would 100% stay here again. Truly better than a hotel! Thanks for the hospitality Mike! We basically showed up with swimsuits and that’s all we needed!

It is rare occurrence when the property listing photos accurately represent reality. Sadly I have stayed in many properties where the photos show the state of a property from years past, and upon arrival we realize the home has seen "better" days. Not with TheRumClub - the photos represent reality and in some cases understate the room, the appliances, the amenities or the view. If you have the opportunity, book this property now. We come to Nassau at least once a year, and we haven't stayed at the same place twice. Hopefully if the schedule allows, we will definitely be staying at the The RumClub again. Michael, Romona and the staff are wonderful which makes the experience of this property even better.

This was the most picture perfect family vacation house we ever stayed at. The house looks just like the pictures. The home was clean! Michael, the owner and his house manager, Romona are amazing. Book Chef Everton! Every meal was amazing and he is truly just as nice and helpful as the rest of the team. We will be back for sure!!!

Great place to stay for the whole family. Spacious and beautiful with all expected amenities. Ocean views and beautiful outdoor spaces. Perfect for those looking for upscale accommodations with privacy while still close to the action.

The home was perfect for a large family get together. The kids loved the Ocean pool with the little beach. The home was extremely well appointed with everything you could think to need. I can’t say enough good things about the host. When Budget over sold and cancelled our car he arranged for another. The list goes on and on about how helpful he was. Thank you, Mike, for some wonderful family memories!

Great property, far from town

Very clean and beautiful home with a lovely view. Ramona and Omar the housekeepers were great. The only thing I would note is the sea pool wasn’t private, the public does have access to this. Awesome vacation overall! We definitely would come back here!

This was our first rental versus a resort. The house was amazing !!! It's huge, has everything you could ever need, including a great pool. Do yourself a favor and visit the resorts but stay here.

Booked this property to celebrate 3 birthdays my twin nieces who turned 20, my husband and our daughter who turned 1. The house provided everything we needed. Beautiful bedrooms, an amazing outside area and the most outstanding staff. The host answered all of my questions quickly. Gave me great suggestions for a chef (Chef Everton was great) and Masseuse (Tia is amazing). The staff which consisted of a grounds keeper and housekeeping were extremly helpful. Overall we couldnt have picked a better property. So grateful this one was available to us.

If you're looking for luxury and privacy, do not look any further! I celebrated my 30th birthday here with family and friends and it was by far the best out of country experience I've ever had. Mike, the owner/host was very kind and responsive prior to and throughout our stay, honest and just really down to earth. This home is spectacular (as you can see in the photos), beds are comfortable, amenities (hand soap/lotion/body wash/shampoo/conditioner and more) are ample and the private pool and sea pool are the best. The house sits oceanfront, so the sea pool is directly across the street *safe to cross*. The house also comes with paddle boards which we used in the sea pool, it is not a beach but filled with sand to give it that feel. There are a few "real beaches" nearby that are drivable. The pool gets a good amount of sun, but there are also couches that are more in the shade. There are only 2 lounge beds so keep that in mind for those who like to lay out and tan. We had a bartender the first night, Leo, who was the perfect welcoming touch, he stayed for a few hours and even brought us poolside drinks! We had a chef come one evening, Chef Shannon, the food was decent, I'd just recommend being very specific with the menu booking a private chef, as they need to come with everything. There were a few spices and staples that were leftover in the pantry which was nice. Top tier appliances and cookware were also included. The house has the perfect lounge areas and even a man cave for the guys, we used this room to play board games on one of the rainy days. Keep in mind that this home is in a residential area (so that was a downside for us being a group of 9 needing to travel w/o a rental) it is still very close to downtown, grocery store, liquor store, but not walkable. We always felt safe especially since it is gated. Last but not least, the housekeeper, Romona and poolman/gardener, Omar are what make this house/villa feel like you're at home, they gave us the tour of the home, made sure we had everything we needed, floats by the pool, a clean grill everyday, even went and got us a coffee pot! Omar even helped us to the grocery store since we didn't have a car. It was really nice not have to care for the dishes and laundry daily, always fresh wash cloths, towels etc. It's the small things that Mike has added to make this stay so warm. I 10000% would recommend this stay and hope to return soon! Thank you so much Mike, we had the best experience!
