Perfect stay for a family of 5 with a dog & cat! House was exactly as pictured and extremely clean, you would never know pets are allowed in the house. Beds were comfortable which included a comfy roll-a-way bed as well. Although we did not utilize, the kitchen was nice and seemed well stocked. Big yard, perfect for dog to run around in. Something that came in helpful was the basket of medicines/first aid that I found by accident in the bathroom cabinets but low & behold we had a unexpected need for antibacterial ointment and it was in the basket! Easy, 15'ish minute drive to Baylor University area.

We absolutely loved this home and the cute street it is on. We moved our daughter into Baylor for her freshman year and this home made the transition easier with being able to relax and visit with comfort and get all of her supplies together. The air conditioning worked amazingly, the beds were all very comfortable and the home was clean. Very impressed.

The house appears just as it’s listed. The area is nice and truly 15min from downtown or anything Baylor related. We stayed 5 days and ran out of toilet paper which the homeowner says that “they don’t supply for the whole stay”, which is my only negative.

Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and all amenities were present. During the stay we had a few questions and they were answered quickly. We enjoyed the total eclipse and then had a barbeque out back. Lots of fun and would stay again. Quiet neighborhood-plenty of parking and across the street is Lake Waco with a wonderful walking trail.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cactus Casa....check in was very easy and host was great to communicate with. It was our first trip with the pups and the location couldnt have been more accomidating! My kids loved the added snacks (especially the candy...haha). We had everything we possibly needed. Highly recommend!

Lindsey was a wonderful host and provided an excellent experience to my family and I for our annual holiday time. Quiet neighborhood with quick convenience to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended.

House was very clean and ready for us, including some snacks and cupcakes waiting for us upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable. We will stay here again!

Very clean and well-supplied house. Pretty with plenty of natural light. Lots of attention to detail. There were snacks offered and plenty of staples for cooking and coffee-making. Large mirrors in master bed and bath were appreciated as we got ready for our event. There were multiple appliances available, including an iron and even a steamer. Plenty of closet space and hangers. Great location and quiet neighborhood.

We came for a girls trip to hang out by the lake and do the winery about 20 min away! This house was perfect because it was in great location to downtown as well. We loved the patio and enjoyed it so much. House in general is very clean and perfectly accommodated our group! Will for sure be looking for this place again if Waco calls us back :)

The home was so welcoming. Special treats waiting for us. I had asked if a blender was on the premises it was not. By the time we arrived she had bought one for us. There is a reason she is a Premier VRBO!

We were very impressed with this spotlessly clean property next to Lake Waco. Another thing we loved was the secure parking inside the gate at the backside of the home and the beautiful shaded yard with the deck.

We enjoyed our stay at this house and it was perfect for us traveling with dogs and two kids under 2! The owner was very responsive. We found the house well stocked and clean. There also were plenty of options to accommodate 5 adults and 2 kids.

Very nice place. The beds were super comfortable and the linens and towels were clean and plenty. The backyard was just what we needed. Would have been nice to have some patio furniture but we made do. Property was close to everything. We would definitely consider this property again for a longer stay in Waco.

The owner did a wonderful job of communicating with us through our entire stay (to include during a 4hr power outage due to a thunderstorm). There are snacks avaliable in the home (popcorn, chips, candy, soda), and the furniture is so cute. You can actually see the lake from the back deck. Some items may be a bit dated (bathroom fan in master makes some wild sounds), the amount of spiders and webs i delt with each morning reminded me a bit of a Stephen King movie, and if you have a long truck, you are not parking out back. But all around this was a great place, incredible location (specific to closeness to downtown), great air conditioning and wonderful views. I was really happy about the quick responses from the owner. She was very easy to work with and as polite as they come.

This house was exactly what we were looking for in Waco. We travel to Waco often, usually staying in hotels. We decided to give this VRBO a shot and we were not disappointed. This house is in a nice neighborhood with quick access to Baylor University and downtown Waco. We felt like we were staying with family, like we were at a home away from home. We are checking our travel schedule now to see if we can book this place again!

Lindsey made our families special occasion perfect! She was great to work with and made the process easier! The property is beautiful! Lindsey even had a beautiful Christmas tree decorated! Guaranteed, you will not be disappointed in this home or Lindsey! Clean, well stocked kitchen, and great location! Definitely a new addition for my rebooking plans!

We stayed here for family Christmas with our grown children and it was the best time ! The house was spotless, beds super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and the cute house details made our stay even better! Fantastic host and we would rent again any time !

Our stay was very enjoyable because the property was exactly as described. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and attended the Heritage Fair that weekend. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again!

Clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and family room. Lindsey was great to work with. We are gluten-free and she had snacks we could eat and provided a list of g-free restaurants. Also researched walking trails at the lake nearby. Would highly recommend the Cactus Casa!

We all enjoyed the hospitality of the Cactus Casa. Lindsey was very nice to let us have a late check out so we could attend church and have a late lunch. We left many wonderful memories there.

Beautiful neighborhood
The home was pleasant and cute! It was very clean and tidy when we arrived! Beds were comfortable. Complimentary snacks were a nice touch! Large fenced in yard for if you have dogs. Plenty of room for them to run and play! Large deck with benches was nice especially at night when it was cool! We would just watch the cars go by! Really loved this stay! Was close to magnolia!

Wonderful Waco Oasis!
Perfect spot to relax and recharge! Super clean house with attention to detail and everything you need! Great backyard the dogs loved! Literally across the street from Lake Waco Hike and Bike trail head. Wonderful weekend, thank you! Recommending the house to friends and family!

Loved it! Comfort and cleanliness.
We had the best time in this Texas-themed home on the west edge of Waco. We could see the lake from the deck of the house, and with a little effort could get to the Lake Waco dam trail. The house was inviting - the children especially enjoyed the chocolates and popcorn! Our dog loved the big back yard. Everything was like staying in a luxury hotel but with the conveniences of a house for our large family. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Over delivered
I travel and rent often. I must say this owner pays attention to detail. The house was spotless and Believe me I do not use that term lightly. Great towels, water, soda chocolates and bags of chips waiting for your arrival. All necessities provided. Excellent communication, smooth check in. Has to be the best value for a rental in the area

Superb Lake Waco property
The owner,Lindsey, took care of all questions promptly. The rental was immaculate and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The walking path along Lake Waco was a pleasant surprise.
Lindsey‘s recommendations for dining were most helpful. My family tried many of them and were not disappointed.
I’ve used VEBO rentals and this is one of the few I would enjoy again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Cactus Home
We really enjoyed our stay in the Cactus House! It’s beautiful and spacious inside. It was impeccable and had everything we needed! The only thing I would complain about was the size of the beds. They were more like full size. Only the masters seemed to be a queen size. The other two rooms had the full size beds which only slept one of my very tall teen sons. We had to sleep on the sectional in order to fit a little better. Otherwise our stay was truly excellent!
