Very good location, interior was picturesque. Breakfast was decent. The stuffs were helpful.

Room facilities were not good. The overall cleanliness of the facility should improve greatly. Due to these the price seemed higher than what they deliver.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this gorgeous property. The entire experience was hassle free and quite lovely. I got an immediate response from the venue when I tried advancing my stay and a call to confirm my arrival time. Ive stayed here once before, a couple of years back but I must say that the hospitality has only gotten better. The rooms were well maintained and the breakfast was just perfect. The location is also super convenient and everything, including the beach is walkable distance.

Prime location right in White Town and close to the sea front. The room was big. The staff is kind and the breakfast is very good.

We stayed over Sankranti/Pongal (Indian holiday so prime season) and hence prices were super high (30000INR for 2 nights!!). For that price the hotel, the room and the experience were disappointing: - The bathroom does not live up to expectations. There is no real shower, just a showerhead from the wall with very difficult to use taps (getting warm water was a challenge). We had cockroaches in the bathroom (to be expected on a groundfloor room in Asia, but again, not when you pay prime prices) - We did not sleep well as the bed did not meet our expectations. The mattrass did not have a fitted cover, it was covered only by a sheet that was loosely draped over the mattrass. The sheet kept sliding off and so we spent a good part of the night lying on the bare mattrass, refitting the sheet to cover it up. The pillows were very hard. - The AC did not work as it should (we put it on 16 degrees but no cold air came out...thank god there was a fan) - No room service during the 2 nights, which for that price we did expect, which lead to inconveniences like running out of toilet paper halfway through the night, or not having enough shampoo for a shower on day 2 - Shared areas are very basic and not inviting to sit there during the day or in the evening. We visited comparable places and they had restaurants or bar service and were more inviting to spend some time on the property. The pictures on the website are awesome but in reality the place is not somewhere you'd want to spend more time other than sleeping. THe breakfast area is a bit sad and shabby. If we'd had paid less we would have been able to oversee these issues, but given the ultra steep price we were honestly very disappointed. Next time I will look for other villas that have put more

I love the ambience, the rustic and cosy feel this place carries. From the white washed walls to the pop of light blue doors and door frames to the wooden and ratten furniture, fairy lights in the garden at night, an airy and open common space to lounge in. Everything about this property is welcoming and helps you kick back and relax. Mr Felix, his family and team of staff: Malavika, Mani and Ravi were delightful hosts and were attentive to our requests and needs. The staff went above and beyond during the 2nd night it poured cats and dogs. I love that the room had an AC and 2 ceiling fans so that we could choose between either and didn't have to freeze on cooler nights. I am not a morning owl and so I was ecstatic that they offered breakfast to be set aside and prepared beyond the usual breakfast hours at most hotels and properties for guest who weren't morning people. This property is walking distance to some of the popular tourist destinations and spots in white town. It's a stone's throw away from the beach too.

By no fault of the property and its management. The beauty of this place was ruined by the lack of action by the government or respective board as heavy rain the days prior to our arrival had left water stagnant outside the property and that wasn't a pleasant sight. It was a miscalculation on our part that we were there during the monsoon season. I think visiting any other time wouldn't present the same problem.

A beautiful, clean, fresh smelling property. Felix and his team were pleasant and always there to guide. Oh and the beds were very comfortable. I forgot to ask them the make and brand.

The mosquitoes and lizards. But then, these can't be avoided when sitting outdoors. Some measures to keep them away from the indoors would be great.

The location is good. It was quiet. They allowed us to check in earlier. The room was good with a big bathroom. Power cut was frequent and the place had no power back up (generator). The max power cut during our stay was for 30 mins. It was unbearable to stay in that room as outside it was 38 degrees. The room we were given was not cleaned and since there is no room service we had to go downstairs to inform the manager. There is no option of even having any beverage in the room (no kettle given), as there was a common kitchen. The corridor was always spilled with dried leaves - not sure if anyone was cleaning it. @breakfast: The seating area is pathetic. The breakfast was below average. Very disappointing. One of the staff makes the item as and when we order. Breakfast included, a bowl of bananas + watermelon, toast, eggs(scrambled, masala omelette, sunny side up) {french toast will be charged - an irony living in the French Heritage}, tea/coffee, puri-aloo. They charged us an extra 180 rupees for a regular hot chocolate. The food plating was not good. it was cold.

Mosquitos, unclean, food and no proper provisions of basic items like hair dryer

1. We got the King size room, with AC and wifi. 2. Staff- Mr Emile, Vijalakshmi Akka, Raja Anna....warm, courteous and helpful. 3. Very good breakfast, a combination of fruits, French patisserie and South Indian cuisine....tasty, fresh...yummy. 4. Everything we needed to see ( other than Auroville) was just a 5- 10 minute walk..and we were practically on the beach only.

The construction, room, breakfast, aesthetics were good. Staff was friendly and helping.

The property is absolutely beautiful, however, the rooms are tiny for the price of a one-night stay. The location is absolutely great, everything is within walking distance. The best part of the stay was the delicious breakfast, totally worth it!

The rooms are quite small, there is no TV and the AC was very old.

Very peaceful and the architecture of the room and the place was breath taking
