Absolutely gorgeous property with amazing water views from almost every room in the house. Fantastically decorated and felt like a hidden oasis for my family! Celebrated my father’s 80th birthday with fishing and crabbing- it was perfect! Many gathering places for all of us to sit together and disperse for alone time, as well! Felt like home away from home without the worries! Will definitely be back!

Everything that is described about this place is 100% true. We will bring others back the next time so they can enjoy what we did. Julie and Kevin are great hosts and always had answers for us. House has everything you need and if you have to have something other than groceries or wine town is very close by.

The Pilot House was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had every amenity imaginable. We lucked out and had beautiful weather the entire week, which meant we got in plenty of pool time! The views, from every window in every room of the home, are gorgeous. Julie and Kevin were responsive to any questions. My only complaint is that we didn't book for two weeks instead of one! Our family definitely hopes to return one day.

This house is amazing! It has anything and everything anyone could want, Homeowners are very easy to contact and work with. This was definitely a vacation our family will remember and hopefully we will all come back to the pilot house. I f I could give it more than 5 stars i would!

This house is gorgeous and has everything you need to enjoy home away from home. It was the perfect location for our family to gather as we laid our mother to rest. Lots of space to spread out, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, and beautiful location. Pool is great but not heated so early in the season it’s very cold. Wi-Fi is cell tower reliant so if you need to work from there or have reliable internet (such as streaming), phone hotspot works better. I would absolutely recommend this rental and stay here again.

This property is everything you want your VRBO to be. The location is perfect, secluded but near some quaint towns for grocery runs and meals out. The view is fantastic, great light throughout the day, and the water access isn't heavily trafficked. The house has a great layout, is taken care of, was clean, extremely well appointed with everything you could want and should have accessible. Plenty of towels, utensils, and basic ingredients. Even the books placed around the home were good reads, and the Roku box easy to login to our own profile on any app. The owners were extremely responsive and are top notch at managing the property. It really couldn't have been a better stay.

The PilotHouse is perfect! Beautiful setting, beautiful house, all we wished for and more. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable it makes you want to just stay inside and enjoy the space. BUT, the incredible views from all the big beautiful windows calls you to go outside to enjoy all this property has to offer. Planning another trip to The PilotHouse for sure!!!!

Our visit to the Pilot House was memorable and outstanding on so many levels but it makes sense to start with the property itself. The gorgeous Pilot House was exactly as described, and the property and grounds were truly stunning. Truth be told, the photographs of some features, especially the kitchen, do not do justice to this immaculate, very well-conceived, and commodious property. The gathering areas were huge yet inviting and high-end yet accessible and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious, comfortable, and very clean. As truly memorable as the interior is, the views were simply to die for. At dawn, at dusk, and at all times in between - this place was mesmerizing. There is a powerful and therapeutic sense of healing and oneness that can be gained from connecting with the water and boy does the Pilot House have it. As fate would have it, my consulting practice required that I work for periods during our trip and through my VPN, the wifi worked fine to facilitate large documents transfer. Dealings with the Owners were efficient, cordial, and all queries were responded to promptly. As I mentioned to them, this 4-night respite to the Pilot House was pure gold insofar as the stress relief and rejuvenation that it helped to facilitate. With the Owner's permission, we'll certainly be back.

This is a beautiful home with stunning water views from every room in the house. The home was very tastefully decorated, organized, exceptionally clean. It was perfect in every way. My only complaint is that it was a short stay.

What an amazing house. Very clean and beautiful. House has light furniture, so I did bring sheets to cover. Between the pool, the lake and area activities, there was never a dull moment. The owners answered our every question/concern. We were very lucky to find this house. Definitely recommend.

The PilotHouse is simply breathtaking. The house is beautifully situated and open, airy, but thoughtfully decorated for comfort with ample room for everyone and different activities, but also with lots of quiet corners for conversations and reading. Everything was spotless with nice homey touches. The house feels larger than appeared in the photos. We spent a lot of time on the back porch just simply enjoying the serene surrounding water and the wild life, including ospreys, herons, plenty of smaller birds, and a northern mockingbird we nicknamed “the Enforcer” for how ardently he seemed to lay claim to the house with the sweetest songs. The pool was a huge plus, even if a bit cold. We also made use of the lawn games and enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable for making meals with family. We also appreciated Julie's and Kevin's responsiveness to our emails. We all simply loved the house, and look forward to coming back.
