Great hotel for business trips to Dhaka. Large rooms, good service

Overall the service rendered was very good. Felt welcome as a guest. Well looked after by all staff.

Overall a pleasant stay. Executive twin room was ample size clean and comfortable. Bed and linen was soft and cosy, brilliant sleep ....and im an insomniac.
Buffer dinner, not a great selection was more biased with localised dishes.
Great coffe in the lobby, but would stay clear of cakes/cheesecakes on display in the cooler....mainly because the cooler is not at optimal temperature...had to send back a cheesecake which was "warm".

I spent 20 days at Pan Pacific Sonargaon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
All staff right across the entire property appeared very well-trained which leads to efficient service. Extra polite and accommodating, and always eager to please.

Entrance door guard are arrogant and not fit for 5 star hotel security, I was told that hotel has a policy not allowing outside food in moto hotel even for hotel residents. Hotel door security were rude and they didn’t allow sweets which was a gift to carry with me back to Australia. I expressed my disappointment to Duty Manager and he also confirmed hotel policy not to allow any food and reason in his words was hotel guest get sick and blame to hotel food. I told duty ma average that does that mean hotel residents can’t take food outside? They can get sick having food outside.
Restaurant conditions also very disappointing, too many nonresident guest during dinner and they were closing only restaurant open entire hotel at 8:15 pm

I appreciate GM upgrade my room. Thank to GM and Mr. Bashar.
However, most disappointing part is Hotel staff are security people always looking and begging for tips.
I am totally disappointed about such attitude.
Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.
However, welcome drink must come with a hot towel, so that guest could clean hand and drink. Please confirm it.
I wish next time I could get out of those trouble.

Old, smelly, they charge for early check in a full night. Expensive. Overall not recommended

The staff were friendly, but overall the facilities were old and inconvenient to stay.
Especially, the humidity was too high in the room, and I saw bugs in the bathroom twice.

Front desk employees aren’t professional at all ; different persons provide me different information; few of the inside employees were very proactive though. I put myself in an awkward condition staying here just for a night; I reserved my booking through online so they couldn’t include me free breakfast they said; Would definitely never come back anymore to experience the terrible experience.

very friendly,secure. very good service...didnot like when they move my room to the upper floors.room was pretty dirty. and didn't give enough time or notice to change my room.

This place is amazing, I travel to the country 3-4 times per year and have my own apartments in the city but still stay here when I bring family along (and they take all the comfy beds at home) ... I couldn’t ask for better and with the Hotels.com discounted rates : this place becomes unbeatable ... The staff are awesome and the facilities are pretty darn good : I own a telecom and stay in 5 star hotels around the world.

Stayed 5 days for business trip. Simply the best hotel service in Bangladesh. With greetings from the staffs every now and then. My assigned room smell mouldy and the manager is willing to change to another room without any further question asked. Good security at all the entrance into the hotel. Every floor with cctv. Food potion is big. Will definitely stay there again.
