Amazing hotel

Everything about this hotel is phenomenal! We had a 2 connecting sea view rooms that were very convenient for a family of 5 with an incredible view. The amenities including gym and adjacent yoga and Pilates studios were top notch for a gym rat and they even offer free Yoga/Pilates classes for hotel guests! Very well situated with free valet parking (not sure if this one is just because of my Expedia status perks). I called reception twice for WIFI access and TV issue and they immediately resolved it. Breakfast Buffet is exceptional with a tons of choices for every taste. We loved our stay!

This is an excellent hotel which is set within beautiful grounds with access to picturesque beach/coast. It was clean, quiet and provided all the necessary facilities and comforts to enable you to relax and enjoy the stay. It was well situated close to the main town, old town and Düden park, all of which are a short taxi or bus ride away. I was a surprised and disappointed that the tennis courts didn’t provide free racket hire, this was not made clear on the Expedia or hotel website. This meant that additional 20 euros for each hour played, which is in my opinion expensive when you are already paying for the 5star hotel. In addition to this I was asked to pay for the use of the floodlights- an additional 5 euro fee - when I played after 9pm. This was disappointing. The biggest problem though was that as an Expedia VIP customer I was entitled to a free room upgrade though this was then missold to me upon check-in - necessitating an additional charge of 424 euros for the 8 nights. I had received a letter from the Akra guest services manager Şirin Ak which did mention my free room upgrade but when I checked in the staff member Mustafa insisted upon payment. I am adamant that this is refunded! I approached the reception, guest services on several occasions about this issue and was advised that I would be refunded after check-out, this is yet to happen. Please therefore investigate further.

The property was clean and great. I stayed there for 2 nights and was shocked that there was no sand or beach front. More importantly, the water was very deep (not safe for kids) and in order to get to the water you have to come down about 60 flights of stairs that are very steep. This place is not accessible to anyone that is unable to go up and down such a steep flight of stairs. They do have pools which is fine but if you are wanting to enjoy the great Mediterranean sea you are out of luck.

Wow! This place deserves a 10/10. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Such great facilities and amenities. From the full board buffet with out-of-this-world meals to the view from the private beach and the pools. Amazing.

Efe Bey Murat Bey Seda Hanim almost anyone and everyone who i ever said Hi to was spectacular!!!! They were extremely professional and so kind!! All very helpful and all smiles!! Thank you to all the staff and I highly recommend considering this as your stay. The room was so clean. They let us have our breakfast a little over check out time. First time someone didn’t rush us. I accidentally left my belongings and they were kind enough to look for me and have them. So gracious i can’t stay thank you enough. Big hugs to everyone.

Clean, good service

The view from the hotel is the only good thing I can say about this place - and our morning waiter, Maksim. Gorgeous views of the sea at this hotel. But other than the view and one person, the hotel staff and rooms were awful for the price. Staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. The front desk staff did not even say hello or welcome, just “I’m going to need your passports and oh, breakfast is NOT included”. From the non-working keys, to being given the wrong room, to no room upgrade even though promised by Expedia, to being denied service at the nearby pool bar because my husband had on a swimsuit and t shirt?? (At a poolside bar!) This place needs an overhaul and massive retraining when it comes to service. The rooms are tiny, reek of smoke and are poorly maintained. Do not waste your money here. I do want to say that our waiter at breakfast, Maksim, deserves a raise! He was the one bright shining star in a hotel that is otherwise filled with rude snobby service. Thank you Maksim for being such a friendly, kind and helpful person! Everyone at Akra should learn from you.

From our arrival to our departure, the service was subpar. Staff seemed disinterested. Room was nice, pool was nice. Our best experience was at the restaurant on the top floor where the service was impeccable and food was delicious. Make a reservation! It is worth it. When you check in, be sure to specify if you want charging privileges, if not, you won’t be able to charge to your room. Did not know this and made me mad when we tried to do so.

The food was good

Nice hotel, highly recommended. My only issue was that the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The floor had black hair on it and dried soap from a previous guest. There was another black hair on a hand towel. Service and hospitality was great, though, and the spa was really nice. Excellent masseur.

It’s ok not the best I would give it 5 star if the room was comfortable to sleep in as the bed was awful felt like I was sinking in and the pillow gave me neck pain the next day and the spa facilities are a money making scheme they don’t even involve the basic steam and sauna for free to hotel customers which you have to pay for which I found strange because when I checked in the staff member told me it’s included in my stay of visit apart from massage which I would have to pay for and I understand that

The stay was amazing as usual. This is my third time here and feels like home. Everyone at Akra is so welcoming that make the stay memorable

The hotel was very good in general, the swimming pools, restaurants, service. I would definitely book it again if I go to Antalya

Another amazing stay at Akra and the beautiful grounds. The food is amazing, the views are breathtaking and the service is exceptional. There is nothing like swimming in the pool or eating breakfast with such beautiful scenery. The staff are always ready to help and serve you as required. We will definitely be back again.

Everything was great beside the buffet had a lot of flies but the food was tasty
