Had a great stay once again. Staff are lovely and very polite. Room was lovely and spacious. Bed was so comfortable. Would recommend.

Good stay, close to family

Needed somewhere to sleep for the night at the last minute for 2 adults and teen. Family room was really big with 2 large double beds. Fresh clean smell on entry to the room. Useful furniture, though old style, plenty chairs for all 3 to sit, and a coffee table plus desk. Lighting a bit dated but good enough for purpose. Large free car park. Great breakfast options for all, including us vegetarians. Friendly staff serving and on desk. We had a problem with our toilet flush in the morning, resolved quickly luckily as another room was available for us to use. Overall, good for a one night stay. Not much to do nearby as the hotel is one a dual carriageway (so a bit awkward to get to if coming from the other side- we missed the turn off!). We only needed somewhere to sleep as came to drop son off to uni and got a puncture!

Hotel was clean and staff were lovely. Breakfast was very good! Only downside was that we were meant to have a king size bed but it was two single mattresses together, the mattresses were also very uncomfortable and you can tell they have been used a lot.

It was quiet and lots of parking Room could do with updating armchairs dirty the bed sheet was stained and you had to flush the toilet 3 times to get rid of toilet roll. But in general i would stay there again given the price i payed

When I booked the Citrus hotel, hotels.com were advertising that breakfast could be bought when we were at the hotel. 3 days before our trip, the hotel emailed to say there would be no kitchen facilities all bank holiday weekends. I emailed back to confirm if this meant breakfast as well given hotels.com had advertised otherwise. I received no response. I called the hotel prior to the trip to have it confirmed that it also meant there was no breakfast option. This was really disappointing and made each of our mornings difficult as where we were going also had no breakfast options. The lack of communication between hotels.com and the hotel needs to be better. The communication between the hotel and guests needs to be better. When we arrived, we were given a free room upgrade that was appreciated. The room was basic, but clean and everything we needed.

The room smelled Mouldy, and smelled of cigarettes. Concerning as it was a non-smoking room. The bath tub looked unclean and not much ventilation. Hotel staff were kind but I wouldnt stay there again.

When you balance value for money versus the hotel itself, this hotel is decent. It is way overdue for a refurb, however the beds are comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms are big and the shower is more than powerful enough. Downside is that due to no daily cleaning (which I don’t mind), the coffee and milk isn’t replenished and so you need to ask for more at reception, which of course you’re never going to remember. I would happily stay again.

This hotel doesn’t have a lift and wasn’t able to accommodate a ground floor request. We had a double buggy and suitcase with no help to bring to room

We stayed here overnight to break up a long road journey. We had a room, dinner and breakfast package. Yes I would recommend, clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was convenient for Coventry, Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. The room was spacious.

Hotel décor a bit tired and dated. The beds need a better quality mattress. Breakfast needs to offer other options ie poached eggs. The food in the restaurant wasn't great. Starter was luke warm. The risotto had been warmed up and was stodgy.

Family room with two king size beds, and plenty of room. For price it was excellent value. Very clean, staff helpful and friendly, and breakfast was plentiful and good quality

Staff were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to help us. Rooms were very dated and the beds were very uncomfortable and could feel the springs through- 2 singles pushed together for a double. Rooms were clean and shower decent. Breakfast was ok and drinks in the bar were also ok. Decent enough hotel for what we needed it for as a group staying to attend a wedding in the area. Nothing in walking distance.
