It provides a comfortable and welcoming feeling. It's the Goldilocks touch - not too big, not too small, just right Quiet location but so close to all that Salamanca Place has to offer. A comfortable bar next to a very good restaurant is great if you just want to eat in. The suites are well furnished and very comfortable. If your first priorities for a hotel room are a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower, then look no further. But these suites are so much more and allow for self-catering if that is your wish. We have stayed here before and have recommended it to friends as well. As you can guess, I am a big fan of The Salamanca Inn.

Our room had a distinct odour that was not pleasant. All other aspects were lovely, bed size was lovely as were amenities. Central floor heating was problematic but staff outlined this and a heater was provided to offset chilly floors.

A beautiful stay here room was so spacious, facilities great , communication great even when we had a concern. Staff were amazing at front desk. The breakfast was beautiful & our host every morning Valerie was sensational & our little girl has not stopped talking about her . Only feedback was pricing of parking other than this would highly recommend to everyone family or single . Great ending to our Tassi vacation. Mr & Mr K & Anela x

Excellent stay with great accommodations for a family of four in a prime location. Surprisingly quiet given the location. We walked less than a block to the street market on Saturday morning. Wonderful customer service. Highly recommend!

$15 a day parking - that we weren't aware of. In dire need of some simple maintenence. TV remote was tacky and batteries need replacing. Sliding door handle is loose. Noisy people above us. Only 1 aircon in the main room, but we were supplied a fan to use in the bedroom. Overall it's not good value for us, and not what we're used to. Reception staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be - had to wait 2 days to get a light fixed in the ensuite....

Was in 2 bedroom room, with main bedroom upstairs. The upper bedroom was extremely hot since the AC was on the lower floor, & had just a small fan. Furniture & rooms were very dated.

This property is so handy to everything in Salamanca, Battery Point and Hobart CBD which are all within minutes on foot. The restaurant is very good and really convenient if you can't be bothered going out for dinner after a big day of sight seeing.

Great location and beautiful room, but just too noisy to work or nap in during the day (after all night travelling). Also, no work space or desk available in the room, so really not suited for business travellers.

Nice room, complimentary parking and laundry. Did not eat at the restaurant because it was expensive and did not look appealing. There are plenty of restaurants around, also expensive but with a better menu selection. Would defin recommend the hotel if youre wanting to stay in this area. Very clise to the Salamanca Market.

Overall a very nice property to stay in, very clean.
We stayed in the Loft Room. Good sized room, good facilities, nice sized fridge, comfy bed.
Unfortunately it only had a tiny window which was disappointing, as there was a lovely view to see.
All in all, a very pleasant place to stay, I would recommend it, and we would stay there again.

Room and general area were very clean including the pool and spa area. Staff were always smiling and friendly. Very helpful if we needed anything.
A pity we can’t say the same about The Bird Song restaurant. No reflection on the service from the Staff they were excellent but the Food was cold and all the chef would offer was free ice cream. Not good.

Salamanca Inn was great to stay in for our family of 4. Plenty of room and amenities and very close to museum, shopping, heaps of dining options and the MONA ferry is a 5 minute walk. The 2 bedroom option is spacious and you get the feel of a self contained apartment, along with the luxury of housekeeping, room service, great restaurant on site and indoor pool. Parking was very convenient too. We loved our stay here.
