Good location with great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean. Price is bit too high for the overall service and the room was fairly noisy. Lots of bars just next door

This hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable. We had a bathtub and we took two baths. I haven’t had a bath in years and it was lovely. The breakfast was superb and we had a delicious dinner. Would definitely recommend

The best breakfast buffet I've tried. Staff is extremely helpful. The hotel has a very unusual rooms layout. The rooms were small but with all you could need. The only thing was the noise from the street and the room felt pretty cold at night, even though we adjusted the thermostats.

Great hotel, funky decor. The room was nice and comfortable. Somehow they put us in a handicap assisted room so might have been more spacious than normal.
Breakfast buffet was over the top. Absolutely huge selection of eggs, potatoes, cheeses, meats, breads, juices etc. Too much to even mention.
One caveat, our room looked down onto Rosenkrantz which had a lively nightlife scene just below our window until 3:00 am

This hotel was a gem of a find. Right in the heart of things with even tram service just a minute away. Everyone working there was happy and helpful, and you felt that they really appreciated your staying with them. And the breakfast!!!! A special shout out to Stean and Pete at the desk who ember above and beyond to help us with restaurants, taxi, etc.

The hotel is very close to the centre and all the amenities. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was excellent and the best surprise of the stay with all the options such as gluten free, lactose free, vegan and vegetarian options. 10/10

Room was incredibly small and dated. Shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it. Very hot in room and no way to cool it. We were given a fan.

The restaurant at this hotel serve the best breakfast we had throughout our entire tour of both Norway and the UK! The room was nice and we loved the lounge as well. A very nice day. The only thing I could say that I wish was different, was that you had parking.

Hotel was in a great location right near Parliament. Everywhere was within walking distance but there's also a tram stop right by the hotel.
Breakfast was fantastic - the best we had out of the three Thon hotels that we stayed in on our trip to Norway.
The staff made this hotel though! Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were fantastic.
And it smells lovely in reception!
Fantastic bar called Røør (loads of beers on tap) on same road and fabulous restaurant called Elias Mat & Sant just around the corner.

Hotel has very helpful staff, cozy but very comfortable rooms, and an outstanding breakfast buffet. Good value for the money. Only negative was a bit of nickel-and-diming (i.e. had to pay NK30 to use an umbrella, NK100 to use wireless device charger).

Overall this is a good property- the receptionists are professional and friendly, the room is quite spacious and well-maintained, the amenities are decent and the breakfast is good with decent options. That said, it would benefit from having a room service option especially seeing as Oslo is a city that sleeps relatively early, and the internet connection wasn’t the best.

The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are clean and staff is super friendly and efficient. Breakfast is delicious. Unfortunately, there is a bar across the street from the hotel that rages on until 4 am every day, worst is on Saturday night. Unless you are guaranteed a room above the 4th floor away from the street, you'll hear the noise all night long. Makes getting over jetlag super difficult.

I have to say the breakfast was the best of any hotel we've stayed at. Every staff member was helpful, pleasant, professional and spoke perfect English. The location is very central which made sightseeing very easy. Only downside I can think of is there is no pool but doubt I would have had time to use it anyway. The city of Oslo has become our favorite and when we return we'll be sure to stay at the Thon Rosenkrantz!

We previously stayed at the Rosenkrantz in 2022 and elected to stay here again based on that first experience. We were not disappointed in the slightest in electing to stay again in 2024. We dealt with several staff at reception. From the time we checked in until the time we left they were all welcoming, and helpful in all of our interactions. Compliments to the housekeeping staff for the excellent attention to our room up-keep. In the restaurant at the breakfast buffet it is easy to see why the Rosenkrantz breakfast buffet is rated #1 in Oslo. The breakfast selections are vast and the amount of food exceeded our expectations in both of our stays. The restaurant staff are attentive to 'service with a smile'. All of the staff speak volumes to the hiring of quality personnel. Surely, you will not be disappointed with staying at the Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz.

Excellent hotel in the middle of Oslo and right next to the tram station. I never used a car.
The room was nice and clean, even if on the smaller side. The gym is very good for a hotel gym. The breakfast is phenomenal!! I was very impressed by the selection they have. And the staff is superb! Couldn’t be happier.

We stayed 3 nights and the hotel is very central. There is a large hospitality suite on the top floor with an ice machine, nesspresso coffee machine and both flat and sparkling water taps. Our room was quite quiet except for the tram line. Friends stayed in a room in the front of the hotel which was quite noisy
The included breakfast was very impressive with lots of hot and cold choices
Definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. A special mention to Victoria at the front desk who went out of the way to give us directions and recommendations for sights and meals.

Hotel situated right next to several bars open until 3.30am so noisy on a Monday night I resorted to sleeping in my tiny bathroom. My 4.50am alarm is a blessed relief.

Hotel staff were lovely, breakfast was outstanding. We did not get directions for room heat and my husband was cold in the room. Location could not have been better - close to tram stop and easy to get anywhere.
