Great hotel in a fantastic location x

Our room was a great size for our family if 4.

Good size rooms. Close to train station. Clean. Good service.

Overall, the holiday inn MCC is an okay choice for accommodation that is close to the city center and mostly hassle-free. The lobby and room were both fairly clean and well-furnished. The service was pretty meh, but at this price-point the focus is on functionality more than experience anyway. One thing I can’t abide is that housekeeping kept taking the spare room card out of the room when I left it behind. I have no idea why hotels hate the idea of you having charged laptops/batteries when you get back to your room, but they really hate the idea of you being convenienced in a preposterously low-cost way.

Overall a nice place to stay. However, we booked the junior suite as we had four people and we were given a suite which was handicapped accessible. After entering the room, we noticed that the bracket for the shower head was broken so the handheld shower head was hanging on the floor. They told us that they could duck tape it or we could try to get a different room which we opted for the new room. The second room was also handicapped accessible which I explicitly asked for a regular room. The accessibility is great if you are in a wheelchair but not if you are a tall person. My husband, myself and my two teenage boys are all 5ft 8 in or taller. The mirror in the bathroom was placed very low and tilted downward making it impossible to fix my hair, put on makeup, or for my husband to shave unless we bent way over and then craned our necks awkwardly. The mirror could not be tilted up because of the faucet placement. The shower was open and despite our best efforts, it was very difficult not to get water on the whole bathroom floor every night requiring us to use half of our given towels for bath mats. I don’t understand the design of many of the features as a room this size would often have a person who is not in a wheelchair traveling with them. Also, the bathroom door was very difficult to close without having to slam it, otherwise it would not latch. Then upon opening it, it was extremely loud because the latching mechanism was jammed shut which woke everyone up.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in. Great amenities. Easy access to transportation and good location to get around.

About a 20 min walk to MarianPlatz where all the shops and nightlife is but that made it a very quiet hotel with a relaxed feel to it. Very close to the Deutches Museum too.

Decent hotel but housekeeping sucked. Don’t like people in my room around my stuff, so I change towels, and get extras, from housekeeping in the hallway, (and tipped) and left the DnD sign on the door. Come back, room had been fine, they removed the extra clean towels, etc etc. probably “just following orders”

The air conditioning doesn’t work . The bed to hard , no amenities.

It has a very convenience lobby , great location !!

The price is to high compared with the hotel amenities and condition

For a Holiday Inn, this hotel was very impressive. Modern, comfortable, well priced, good location, good staff and food.

location location. This property in perfect location just 10 mins walking distance to downtown and lots of dinner and lunch option around the area and yes don't forget to visit beer park.

Spent a week here for a business trip. Extremely clean, great staff, & customer service was very friendly with any questions. 10/10 highly recommended. This was the best holiday inn that i have ever stayed at.

All staff were excellent and number of staff on hand was superb. Holiday Inn came to our rescue when we decided to quickly vacate another boutique style hotel in Munich with unchanged sheets, dirty room and rude unapologetic staff. We were overjoyed to get immediate accommodation in a clean room and very friendly reception and wait staff. The lobby was well laid out with a self serve convenience area with toiletries, snacks, drinks and good quality’s salad sandwiches on location. I would very much recommend the hotel.

Comically expensive for an average hotel and no water in the rooms.

A comfortable 15 minute walk to Marienplatz. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops close by.

Location was pretty good and convenient for the airport. The front desk staff was incredible and helped me with a travel issue. They went above and beyond. I couldn’t thank them enough.

Well located. Same building access to subway. Comfortable bed and accommodations and excellent impressive breakfast. Only critique: no refrigerator in the room. So if you have refrigerated medication or are traveling with kids this may not work for you.

When I had a dispute about the check-in amount and deduction, the reception did not handle it properly, I haven't get the reception from hotel or Expedia till now.

Hotel is nice and well situated, but breakfast is really too much expensive (31 EUR) for this kind of "basic" quality.

Fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Munich City Centre… distance to centre very walkable, room was great and comfy stay. The choice for breakfast was fantastic… lots of different and varied food on a help yourself basis, including some traditional German fare. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
