Will stay again here

As a solo female traveler, I found that restaurant staff had some issues understanding it and communicating directly. They will always ask is Sir joining? They will not care to ask my preference, etc. when a male cousin of mine joined for meal together they further will only come and just check with him. Even after giving two separate room numbers, they made one bill and put it on my cousins room first and had to ask a few times to make them understand. Third day another female cousin joined and she was to share room with me and I had not told hotel about any one joining but they did give her my room key and moved her luggage in my room without my consent or checking with me. It was one of the worst Leela experience for me

The Leela Kovalam is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel staff go over and beyond to make your stay and experience a very comfortable one. The dining experience is also fantastic where you get to savour local Kerala delicacies. This place is highly recommended whilst visiting Trivandrum.

Chaotic on arrival. Billing was a mess during checkout. Complimentary water bottles (the only available drinking water in the room) could not be opened the day we arrived. And the phone didn’t work so no calls could go through. And no safe in the room. Overall, disappointing.

Lovely resort and great food and facilities. Staff werre all really helpful. Beautiful location to relaxe and unwind.

I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous property! From the time we checked in, to our checkout, we were treated like royalty! The front office manager Reshma T. Made our entire stay very pleasant and was always available with a helping hand! A new intern by the name of Olivia brought a smile to our faces each time she greeted us warmly! The dining was amazing and the sightseeing around the property left us totally captivated! Kerala is truly God’s own country!

The location, the food and service are top class. Would stay there again. So many choices of nutritious, healthy and tasty vegetarian food in every meal. Walk to the beach is a bonus. The staff are not being themselves when on the job; the customers and the upper management don’t seem to treat the hard working staff well; they are being treated like robots. This issue is not particular to this property but applicable to many other resorts.

The staff, beachfront, very clean, always goes out of their way to be helpful, the grounds, front desk manager, (can’t remember her name)! I highly recommend this hotel.

A great place for relaxation. I was at the new year eve. It was very crowded. Will defectively visit again. Very good customer service and nice food.

An excellent oasis of joy and beauty. It is somewhat overpriced but you don’t feel that bad looking at the quality of the service.

Lovely relaxing location on the Arabian Sea. Staff were so hospitable and so friendly. We cannot say enough about the staff! We stayed in the Club Room section. Rooms were very nice and very clean and infinity pool and loungers were wonderful. We had a balcony overlooking the sea and were able to watch the fisherman diving in the morning. In the club section you also have access to an extra dining area in the cafe which was lovely. We adored the staff in there. The Leela was the perfect place to end our three week tour of India. 5 stars!

Excellent location, on the beach with great views of the sea including sunset views. The infinity pool and the bar are excellent locations to spend an evening. Hospitality at their restaurants is great as well.

The staff is very supportive, Leela has its own private beach. This Hotel is built in the property of KOVALAM PALACE. We really enjoyed!! its a fantastic family trip

Amazing facilities and spa treatment. Great location. Taxis available as needed from the hotel. All excursions can be booked through the hotel and the beach is extremely close by

Rooms had a musty smell. A/C didn’t work properly. The food was not good and often cold.

Excellent customer service specially housekeeping personnel Sunita, Sunil,Karina, and S ….(Nepali, forgot the name) Ritish we’re so professional, enjoyed the beautiful place, I would say Kerala,s pride, will go back again.
