It is what it is - two old buildings merged together and turned into affordable accommodation. Fine for business trips or a cheap night out in Kings Cross. Not great if you're trying to impress a romantic partner.

This hotel is very convenient, about 5 minute walk from King Cross subway.
The staffs are all very kind and knowledgeable. They solved any room problems promptly and they gave me good instructions and tips on how to enjoy Sydney.
I stayed twice with Devere Hotel. Each time 2 nights.
I also like the walking, 10 minutes to royal botanical garden. 15 minute walk to Australia National Museum.
And very close to Bondi Beach too.

It was putrid semen in bath tub blood skirts all over the mirror. Bed bugs. We were moved into room we paid for at start at 4am. Dalse advertising on expedia app for this hotel. False advertising for the room we thought we were getting.

Location was Awesome.The 5 Day Stay with no Clean was a bit budget.No Toaster,No Proper Coffee Cups,Dessert Bowls,No Butter Knifes,Budget Wall Heater,Shower over Bath was a bit too Old School especially for the Price.The Tv had static so couldn't watch it.Dont remember if They had Free Wifi as We didnt get a Code either way.Was Alright but for the Price,Airbnb or Another Hotel will be the better option.Charge Top Price,Expect Top Service and For Us,Wasnt quite there.
