The room was very large and offered lots of amenities and was very clean

I expected that thus hotel offers normal 5 stars Service but did not. Staff were lazy and did not even lift her butt from chair to serve me. Beds were awfuls, made noise when you turned, low quality. Room did not even had still water for free...like other hotels had. And breakfast...really sucked.

The location in the Old Town could not be bettered: the historical sites, any number of restaurants, bars, shops, the theatres and cinemas, modern well-equipped (and reasonably priced) gym are all within a very few minutes’ walk.The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by service bus (service no. 22, €1.15), and a just few minutes on foot from the railway station.The hotel is modern and stylish. The staff helpful and organised.Breakfasts offer good choice.Curiously there was no phone in my room though there seemed to be a socket. Perhaps I should have asked about it.

Hotellets personale er meget serviceminded og værelserne i top. Ligger lige i centrum og da det er turistområde, er der lidt støj, men ikke om natten.

The shower area is pretty small . The table tops are all weathered and some of the decorative plants are dead with fully dried leaves if any .The lobby ceiling has a long lone of black duck tape .This property is overrated and I would not stay here again unless it’s fully spruced up .Also the lifts smell of cigarette smoke and the whole hotel including the room have a musty smell .

Hotel is located at the middle of old town. Roms are ok and well equiped with minibar, safe, shoeshine kit and a nice assortement og bathroom articles. Iron is available on request at the reception. Room was not cleaned during daytime, but housekeeping came knocking on the door late afternoon/early evening as I was getting ready to go out. Bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was a horrible experience. 1 person tried to cleare tables while filling on the breakfast buffet. The result was that guests was lining up waiting for food to come out of the kitchen. One day the coffee machine was not working and the other day it needed beans and cleaning. Staff at the reception was helpfull during the whole stay.

Great location for sightseeing, but too dark and small room. Breakfast was not so great. TV channels were especially weird... Overall I‘m not sure what I paid for was worth spending.

Definitely not 5 star more like 3, breakfast shambolic at best, not always but on occasions no plates,coffee machine empty and eggs etc not being replenished. Staff attitude very poor across the board, we wont be returning

The hotel is based right in the middle of Old Town Riga and literally a 30 second walk to the House of the Blackheads, it is a great place to stay as majority of the attractions are within walking distance. Staff were great and very helpful during my time there. My room was ok but definitely needs to be updated. Breakfast was ok but if it is not already included with your package then I would not spend the money as there are plenty of options around the city for cheaper.

Overall we did not have a good experience at this hotel. The service from the receptionists was also not good to say the least. Our room was freezing cold, -2 degrees inside the room! We slept in extra warm layers. We arrived very late and hope that the air conditioner would warm up the room. This was unfortunately not the case but as it was very late we did not go downstairs to complain after in the middle of the night. We were only staying there for one night and when we informed the receptionists about this in the morning then they basically turned the blame on us, the customers. They were irritated and asked us why we had not told them about this in the night. This is simply very bad customer service.

It was horrible, from the moment we saw the room - it smelled musty, the bad looked horrible, there was poor. In the side of bath, the shower was really random and not like a proper shower but pre mixed water, the hairdryer was from Last century and so the safe that didn’t work first so had to be fixed but like bad quality and definitely not from Last 20 years! The bed was so bad when you sleep you roll in the middle together with your partner. There was vallet service so when we parked first night we said we will pick up the car next day and use the service again once we arrive from our road trip but once we returned they said yes you can use the service but then after 10min said sorry it’s fully booked out and you should have extended for 3 nights, well if we have car where do you think we gonna park it?? And we said we will need it next day! Also when we asked were can we park they said you need to find it your self- so no help what so ever! Worst hotel ever and not sure how it can fall it self 5* as it’s 2-3*. Is there away to check it how they got the stars as I can’t believe they would be given 5???!!

The driver claimed he does not know anything. I figured that the hotel management will take care of it (it was valet parking). Then the fun began:1. I offered that they pay me for the deductible of my insurance and we are done with it. They no, because it is not their fault.2. Then they accused me of bringing them a car that already had dents and scratches and now wanting money from them.3. Then we went to the valet parking to see, if there was any pieces of the car there (to see if it actually happened there- the driver came with us)4. After trying to see the surveillance footage, which was denied at first, we went back to the hotel5. Called the manager again (she never came to the hotel)- she said after they take the car and if the make scratches on it they are not liable. After finally someone at the parking lot look at the video and said the driver who brought us the car had crashed it. Finally the driver admitted it as well and agreed to pay for the deductible. The whole thing took about 2-2,5 hours, had to involve my lawyer from Latvia and the local police. So if you do not have these kind of nerves or the time, then I would stay away from there. Because it seems this is the way of doing business there. In general the stay was good. The room was nice, location good.

Location great. This hotel is seriously understaffed. Only response I got was from checkout guy. Amenities are good. We found restaurant just fair. Needs new mgmt.

The hotel is in the perfect location of the old town of Riga.The rooms are quite big but the beds were not comfortable at all.Breakfast was bad and the service at the restaurants were worse.

Location was nice if you don't mind the noices of nifht life (music etc.). Hotel is max 3 stars. Breakfast wasn't good and always something was finish. One mornig the coffee machine didn't work and there was any clean classes or mugs.

The carpet in the room was really dirty with large stains. There was a dead fly in the corner.

Outstanding location right in the middle of everything. Decent breakfast in a very nice-looking medieval basement. Rooms are meh, small, a single pillow, definitely not 5-star. Pleasant service staff but not enough; there was only a single employee at 2pm; no bellman, nobody. Think of it as a 4-star hotel, 3 star rooms and great location and you'll be happy.
